This is behind the scenes footage of the rehearsals for the 1986 Prince's Trust concert. Phil and the band are rehearsing the Beatles classic 'Get back'. Quality isn't too good, as this is from an old VHS-tape, but I hope you still enjoy listening to the classic Phil Collins drum fills.

@@detlevtimm3019 phil endorsed officially sabian since the early 80s but he kept all his cymbals over the years, according to a modern drummer interview in 83, at that point he had 150 of them, and sometimes he'll bring out a few surprises for certain sessions or occasionnal one-off event like this one. during this period for example , with the invisible touch , he had all sabians except a large zildjian swish chinese cymbal right above the 8' tom

yes, altough i saw him once behind a right handed drum kit on the old letterman show, jamming with paul shaffers band, only playing the remote bass drum pedal on his left and on the toms, lol
