What gorgeous conditions! A great paddle. Ever thought of a paddle around Lundy?

      @@christophersmith7714 aha... Lundy.
I was talking about Lundy just a few days ago. Not done it yet, but it will happen soon I'm sure.
Thanks for the suggestion and watch out for a Lundy video..
      Cheers

Hi Andrej. For sure.. it is 'Dance Of The Gypsies - Hanu Dixit'. I found it on the YT music so free to use on videos. Thanks for watching. Darren

Very nice. Just found your channel. How long have you been kayaking. I know it takes a lot of experience for these trip's. Its something I would love to do but I'm only just starting. Thanks

      @@dillonwild7016 Hi there,
I started paddling waveskis in my teens then river boats in my 20s now sea kayaks and just turned 50... A bit of sailing too along the way is also very relevant for the nav and tide planning.
The key is to enjoy it so whatever level you're at, make sure you have fun while you learn.
      Thanks for watching.
If you're passing by the south do get in touch!!
      Cheers

I'm in West Sussex on the coast. So would love to do some of those trips over to the needles Poole Harbour etc.. I'm going to join a local club initially. I think it maybe the best way to get some experience. I've got a half decent inflatable kayak which has given me the bug. I now want to learn more. Thanks again.

@@dillonwild7016 great stuff. A club is a good start to try a few different boats and pick up a few tricks and tips. You will likely outgrow the inflatable once you're eyeing up the bolder trips offshore but trying a few boats should give a good idea of what you like before going shopping 🛒.
There are some good deals around if you're patient

Have you got your paddle connected to your PFD or your boat?

    • @GoneKayaking
      @GoneKayaking  5 місяців тому +1

      @@MadDogGiraffe hi there.
I have the leash on the paddle connected to the bungies on the boat.
I used to waveski a lot so the leash is a habit from that.
