Good tips, but to get 90hz and 2k disaply and not use it feels less good. It´s like buy a sportscar and never go over 2:nd gear..:) So far with my use i get easy a full day with everything at max...so so far it doing Ok.

I got the phone recently, I haven't noticed any visible difference between 90hz and 60hz. So I am thinking of just going to 60hz to save battery since there is no difference. I even used it on 60hz to check and absolutely 0 amount of difference. Also theres always some sort of lag, I'm disappointed because my OnePlus 6, didn't ever lag. And this does every once in a while. Like an app would hesitate and then open, or when I close an app, it would for like half a second freeze and then close. But the worst is when I'm typing, I'll type first but the words show up later. It can't keep up with my typing speed. And I'm not some worlds fastest typer. But battery life has been better than my expectancy. I used to think battery life will be very bad. But that's been much better than I was expecting. Another disappointment has been the camera. I feel like it's worse than my OnePlus 6 camera, or at the very least, they're the same.
I wanted the Snapdragon Galaxy S10+, not the slow Exynos version the UK offers. This was my second choice, but no notch/hole punch is such a bonus too. Can't wait to try it out on Monday.

YES, thank you! I was missing face recognition so much because you don't always have your hands free /clean. The only thing I'm missing now is the dual screen, but hey, you can't have everything, I guess. This already helped me loads!
Great video. Just a question about zen mode. It says once it’s enabled there’s no going back or cancelling it, what happens if you need to use the phone in an emergency? It must have something to allow you to over ride it?
I can't believe how fast the face unlock is. I never set it up thinking it was going to be slow. But it is faster than the fingerprint reader at times.
If you have this phone, get the car warp charger!!! It is amazing. I leave home for work and my phone is almost fully charged when I get to work and this is with it on with UA-cam the whole ride 😎

The T-Mobile version doesn't include a screen protector in the box. You have to buy one seperately. The online version from oneplus.com comes with a screen protector in the box.
Note: The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a built-in screen protector, but it's made of thin plastic and easily scratches and dents. Mine came with it, weird that it varies from place to place (it wasnt separately in the box)

Totally agree about dark mode, Google has taken far too long to make it an option, they've also been doing their best to kill the Substratum themes capability too, I think their devs are jealous when custom rom devs make nice toys. FYI That phone isnae gonnae work well wae nae sim card though :) One tip I hadn't known about was double tapping in the cam app to switch cameras between front/back, saw that in a review recently.

darkmode should be the basic mode for everything phones, browsers, online game stores. everything that can have darkmode should have it enabled by default

This is the best phone out there right now. I picked mine up from T-Mobile the day it came out. Everything I wanted in a phone this phone has. It has speed, all front screen with curved display, amazing rear cameras, and great pop-up front facing camera. Oxygen OS is so smooth and easy to use as well. Everything is so smooth and the screen resolution looks amazing!! Get one!! If not this one then get the Note10.

I need help. I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and I cant display all running apps. The recents (square) button doesnt open them and there is no reference in Button and Gestures in the settings. Also swiping from the bottom up and holding only brings up an apps search but not all of the running apps. I just need a way (any way) to display all running apps. Thanks.

I got mines yesterday, and honestly. The face unlock is super fast !! Sometimes i don't even notice the camera popping up, because of how fast it does

For me the zen mode is a good idea but should be customisable, say between a min of 20mins and max of 3/4hrs

T-Mobile has the glass screen protector, th cost is a bit rich but definitely needed to protect this beauty
