He has devoted his life to saving as many as he can..
He has also written a book about how he got started. It's well worth reading.

I watched this series. This guys dedication to the kangaroos he rescues and cares for is nothing short of amazing. He has to get up several times during the night to bottle feed the bay ones.

I have been caring for orphaned wildlife for a while and it's blokes like this that are the pinnacle of what life is all about!. There's plenty of room in our lives to include and understand outside of that narrow vision most of us have. Until you have held a tiny Joey or Platypus or the tiniest of Pygmy Possums once you connect you will never look back and your self awareness will open an entire new world. Good on you mate and Thankyou!
Spot on. In a life not without some wonder, my fullest moments have come with animals. To sit beneath a weeping willow in the late afternoon light, alone save a beer and a fox on my shoulder, and the quiet look of trust in her eyes...that's the best, I think. I realize in those brief seconds that I'm so grateful and happy that I want so little...that this simplicity can overfill my cup. Indeed, you come away aware that all you need, you already have.
