G'day Sally & Mick. Nice to see Mick bounding around on sea rocks in his board shorts....LOL All the exercise has done wonders. You keep knocking my ole grey matter alive and flood my head with ancient memories....Fantastic, and certainly adds pleasure to my past life knowing I wasn't wasting heart beats and ventured many locations....even Tooligie. We broke 2 link hooks on old narrow gauge caring grain after shunting there. great in middle of night and cold rain...but survived. Thanks again Sally & Mick...Champions........Cheers 👍
Thats what i would say to others about my office view, definitely one of the perks being a truck driver. We just got back from Cordola, thanks for sharing what we generally only see through the office window.☝️
Memo to self- go slow! I have visited some of these places BUT missed so many!! A return SLOW trip is on the bucket list. ❤ Elliston - saw a whale in the bay - special. And the cliff drives - scenery❤❤. Much of the cliff-sea footage reminded me of the S.E. - dad loved his fishing Thanks for another interesting and informative vlog Jan Adelaide (on holiday Ardrossan - Marion Bay tomorrow)
We too have done this area before but with time restraints and missed looking at so many spot. Now with time on our side, it is much better. Enjoy your holiday🙂
I am not a religious man however, having been there i can truly say that its gods country. I already have it in my will to be buried over there towards streaky. Thanks for this video, i have watched a heap of your vids. Locks well steps are a bugger, glad they are there because an old fella once told me that to get down there it was a chain and star droppers further to the right of the stairs on the other side of that little hill. I once carried over 30kg of salmon back up those steps and it was only 6 fish, not easy to forget. Awesome videos, truly beautiful place all along there.
I loved the footage going into the cave!! You did do it justice!! Your drone skills are definitely good!! You also did show how clear the water is!! Its good to see clear unpolluted water!! Safe travels to you both!!
I spent only six days driving the Eyre during an eleven week trip; appears it was nowhere near long enough. You Aussies are lucky, you're already there and not faced with expensive flights😂
Well that was a lovely trip tonight, I enjoyed every bit of it especially seeing the pelicans which are my favourite birds when you are near watering holes. I follow the weather watch tv on youtube from NZ as Phil is a better forecaster than any Aussie weatherman & it shows that SA are finally going to receive a good drop of rain in the next week. So I thought of you & hope that you are either home again or in a good place to receive rain for a few days. I am also hoping that my suburb catches some rain that is heading for NSW as I am in a dry pocket between rain bands so drive 10 kms north or south & you catch the rain whilst we die of thirst!!🤣🤣🤣 Looking forward to my next armchair visit to SA.
Thank you, glad you are enjoying the videos. We are currently at an exposed beach camp called Lipson Cove for a few days while we wait to see what happens with the weather. Hope you get the required rain, it is amazing how there are areas as you describe that miss out so many times on the much needed rain.
Venus Bay is my home beach. Good fishing from that jetty. The pelicans are self trained to clean up after the fishermen Doesnt look much like it did 70 years ago as there were lots of sandhills and the jetty was not filled in eith concrete. Talia caves and Coodly along with Mt Camel, belonged to an uncle. Good salmon fishing at Mt Camel. Buildings futher down are 10 yrs or so old. One is a very exclusive BNB retreat.
The family was the Whittles, they have a UA-cam channel called "Our Whittle Adventure" I didn't mention their name as at that point in time they hadn't announced where they were on their socials
The monument that we mentioned must have been there for many years as the writing at the base was almost impossible to read due to it's age making the reasons for it to be difficult to understand. There was another monument the clifftop at Venus Bay to remember a young lad that lost his life at the cliff.

There must be so much rail history lost in Australia, so sad really.
Thanks Mick and Sally, enjoyed the relaxing video as usual, great ocean landscapes. Safe travels . Bill Mc
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video👍 We love the landscape on this side of the Peninsula🙂
Spectacular, many thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great video Mick, keeping us inspired all the time!
Cheers, glad you enjoyed it👍
Great job, Mick. It's such amazing scenery. Best wishes to you and Sally.😊
Cheers, this sort of coastline is very pretty👍

Sometimes the office window is the best view, hope you had a great time at Cordola👍
Another excellent video Mick,am really enjoying your tour of the Eyre peninsula. Cheers 😊😊
thanks👍 glad you are liking the videos🙂
You guys are truly blessed living there, North Carolina coast line has nothing compared to what you have there. Thanks for sharing.
Australia is renown for being the lucky country🙂
Come on down under sometime😅
Merci pour la visite cher Mick. Surprenantes, ces grandes statues ! À bientôt. 😉
The statues make the drive very interesting and add to the appeal of the area.

Thanks, glad you are enjoying the videos. A great fisherman pays the price for being good when they have to lug all of their catch up those stairs🙂
Try lugging a whole gummy shark over the sandhills ( mum was thrilled with her catch - insisted it had to be weighed as caught - poor dad Jan Adelaide
Great vid, you both do more for S.A travel than the state government. Keep it up. 👍👍🍻
Thanks, will do!

The clarity of the water has been very good no matter where we have been which is so great to see👍

Six days would have been a real rush but we can only spend what available time we have in any one location. There is a lot to see here👍

Great stuff, very interesting👍
Are you now retired there, Mick?
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday on your caravan trips.
been retired since July last year and enjoying the new lifestyle very much🙂
@@justcruisinwithmicksally837 very glad to hear mate 👍
love your videos mick n Sally.
Reversing the van out of that car park would have been a lot easier than revering tripples?
@@Mick_4591 you are spot on with that statement😁
What was the family's travelling channel you met up with?
The family was the Whittles, they have a UA-cam channel called "Our Whittle Adventure"
I didn't mention their name as at that point in time they hadn't announced where they were on their socials
Why would there be a memorial to 1 random person who lost their life. That's a bit confusing Mick😮
The monument that we mentioned must have been there for many years as the writing at the base was almost impossible to read due to it's age making the reasons for it to be difficult to understand. There was another monument the clifftop at Venus Bay to remember a young lad that lost his life at the cliff.
Sorry Mick I'm confused why having satellite TV and starlink would be a problem 😮
The problem was the trees that we were parked under preventing a clear line of sight to the satellites.
