Such a lovely remembrance of Doug. Makes me smile thinking of my last conversation with Doug, after Robert Force invited him on stage to play Wellyn at Mt. Dora. Doug told me he was so honored. 🥰
Great job as always, Steve. Whenever I heard Doug perform this in concert at a festival, he would usually introduce it by saying he was originally going to title it "Magnificent Lee". That way, when folks would ask what the name of that tune was, someone could answer "Doug played magnificently" .... ;-)

Music is often a memory. Thanks for sharing that. I met them several times over the years and still use the music stand I bought from them.
Thank you, Stephen. I like to play this one with my friend Leslie, who plays noter style. It's a favorite of ours.
That’s great!
Pretty tune and beautiful playing.

You’re ABSOLUTLY right!
Beautiful tune, well done!
It makes me want to learn the dulcimer. Sweet song.
I think it's a pretty tune.
Is the Tab for this tune available? It's lovely! ❤
