I love how he starts explaining everything easily but then passion takes over!! That makes a great instructor and really motivates the student. Keep up the good work buddy
My Muay Thai class yesterday was mainly inspired by this video. Two hour workout, 30 happy faces smiling of ehaustion and pleasure afterwards. Thank you for that and keep up the good work. Greetings from Germany!
Hey Paul, I watched over 100 hours of youtube instructions to learn different things. And i must say from all those guys its you and another one from england who really teaches really usefull things that others dont know about. So i respect you and greetings from Amsterdam.
***** Thanks for your amazing comments. Paul is as I have said on many occasion a great instructor! You have some great gyms to train at where you are, I used to live in Eindhoven and travel up to Amsterdam and Rotterdam to train at weekends many years ago!! Greetings from Manchester!
LOL i love how he says it's a nice technique, anyway he got himself a new fan saw his fight on yokkao dude's a beast can't wait to see him again back in the ring so impressive!!!! Respect
VladNakMuay Paul is a beast and we look forward to seeing him back in the ring as well!! He is also an extraordinary instructor as you can see here, we have a lot of time for Paul at the Warrior Collective!!
Paul Karpowicz has a nice style.. i've learned alot from this vid over the months, the possibilities are endless when you are loose, stay relaxed and pay attention to your body's natural movements. thanks for the uploads
MR JDKNS Could not agree more, Paul has a style unique to him, he is great to work with and watch in action, glad you have been finding the videos useful!
Best Muay thai tutorial on youtube, planted many new ideas into my head. Thanks for posting and Paul's partner took his fair share of punishment in this tutorial haha.
TenaciousTitan MMA Stop, you are going to make me blush ha ha! I am really glad you have been enjoying all the videos on the channel, it is great to keep reading your comments and positive feedback! Luke (Paul's partner here) is not the first assistant on this channel to take some punishment for the sake of the videos ha ha!
Any chance we can get some more content from Paul? I know this is an old video but Paul is absolutely brilliant, I'd love to get to 2technical to train with him.
I speak to Paul regularly so I am pretty sure I will get some more videos with him on this channel soon! He is well loved on the internet ha ha. I can't recommend visiting him enough!!
+Fighting Frog Thanks for the great comment again! Paul is an exceptional instructor, his videos on here are all brilliant and often revisited by those that come across them! Let me know how you get on with them!
You are welcome, all Paul's tutorials on this channel are excellent, make sure you check the others out when you get chance! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!!
I just can't get enough of Paul! He's such an awesome instructor, and so funny I'm just grinning like a fool when I watch his stuff! Any chance you'll be visiting him again any time soon, Stuart?
+Stuart Tomlinson I watched him at yokkao ' paul was a breath of fresh air with his style & was so unlucky ' would be fantastic to see him at yokkao again.
Excellent insights and instruction, to be sure. Is such an amazing journey in the martial arts, and in Muay Thai ( Boran, Chaiya etc), how you can always continue to learn and gain in application and understanding of the art indefinitely, no matter how many years one has trained therein. The principles and concepts upon which the art is based can always be creatively worked with, the basics always further refined, the attributes maintained, and further developed, ad infinitum. Cheers for sharing the knowledge with the nak muay around the world.
freddie mcduff Sorry to hear you did not have a great experience. Most instructors from experience are great people, you may have just had bad luck. Don't let it put you off, go and see if you can find someone else! Glad you enjoyed it!
1507Lachlan he was a twat, i went for 4 years, he put me in for an interclub, sent his mate to oversee the people i did the interclub with, asked who did best his mate said me. then he put someone else in for a fight who got ko'd in round 2. he wanted me to go 5 times a week to do one fight even though a few of his fighters didnt beat me in a single round of sparring so i fucked off
1507Lachlan ive never heard of it aha, ive just googled it, theres one in bradford, i really cant stand bradford. it wasnt just competing i was being held back with my ability and its not fair to train people up and not spar with fighters although youre promised for months on end, id have gone back because i love thai boxing, but theres too much water under the bridge
Master Toddy calls the art of redirection “The Cobra Technique” and he estimates that 80-90% of knockouts come by way of it. Using one powerful technique to make an opponent apprehensive of it coming again and then fainting with it again to use another technique and leave them blind sided by it.
jimbanzo If I could double like this comment I would ha ha, many thanks for your kind words, I definitely try ha ha!! Glad you are enjoying the channel!
This guy has a extremely good fighting technique and style
trickznmix Lot of love for Paul everywhere! And for good reason, he is great to watch and teaches with flair, knowledge and passion!
Wahk...Boom...OI..Bang Bang
My favorite part about these videos
My MT coach says "Boom Boom BOOM" all the time lol
my personal fav was the 'DOI' at the end
Paul is a beast, just from watching how quick he puts all this stuff together off the top of his head.
OdinMMA Paul is a machine ha ha, glad you are enjoying the vids
I love how he starts explaining everything easily but then passion takes over!! That makes a great instructor and really motivates the student. Keep up the good work buddy
Paul is super passionate and as you said, this is often a great sign. Glad you enjoyed it!
My Muay Thai class yesterday was mainly inspired by this video. Two hour workout, 30 happy faces smiling of ehaustion and pleasure afterwards. Thank you for that and keep up the good work. Greetings from Germany!

This guy is high level. You don't see as many fluid stance switchers in muay thai/ kickboxing as you do in MMA!
Still the best instruction i have ever seen.
EVER!
Paul is a certified beast. But his genuine passion for the art comes across in the video. He loves breaking down the techniques.
Your insightful & inspiring demonstration and explanation exemplify flexibilty and change, and refute statements that Muay Thai is simply brute force.
JAMES WU Thank you for your great comments, Paul is a fantastic Nak Muay and as always his knowledge and skills are there for all to see here!
he has beautiful form in either stance.. is he southpaw or orthodox naturally.
