This abbreviated tape of King Yellowman live in England at the Capitol Music Festival in 1983 provides a superb glimpse of just how popular he was back in those days. In 1983, Yellowman is at the top of his game, and no doubt the hottest deejay in the Jamaican dancehall. In this recording, we hear the screaming delirium of female fans gone wild, as they erupt for King Yellow, and go crazy at his utterings. The MC is David Rodigan of Capitol Radio. Yellowman, in the midst of the fan excitement, puts on an awesome performance, that even today we can still enjoy.
