I went from the 11 Pro Max to the s23 and i'm happy with the switch. I've had android before the iphone so I've always appreciated android os. Face unlock is so much better on iPhone but that pill shaped cutout, the massive camera bump on the back, and restrictions in ios made it an easy decision. The price difference too, Samsung offers much better deals on their phones from time to time.
Much agreed it was hard giving up face id but also I love super amoled and snap dragon most

When showing the Dynamic island you can see how much you have to move around the phone in your hands. This is my biggest gripe with iOS, you have to move the phone up and down in your hands to do almost anything productive. (Notification Center, control center, and dynamic island.)
Yeah on Samsung you can just use one handed operation + app And literally 24 different screen gestures at the same time and just swipe left or right from the sides of the screen close to your hand.
Or even use micro gesture app for motion gestures

As far as the speakers on the S23 you can adjust or customize the sound from Dolby Atmos & the equalizer
The speakers, though, were still great to me on the S23's. Maybe not louder, but crispier imo. Samsung really added the bass and crispness to the Galaxy S23's stereo speakers this year
apple really dropped the ball with the pro series, the massive camera hump and weight just makes the phone feel like a brick, i had a 14 pro for a week and traded it in for a s23

Samsung won this round in my opinion, I just ordered an s23 because what you get for the money is just so much better and I have a major issue with iPhone front cameras. Watching on my S105g which is flawless TOF sensors front and back cameras which are superb. Headphone jack aswell lol and quad hd screen. Only thing nowadays is battery is running out quicker. And it only weighs 197g 👌🏻
@Selfm8 usually they improve it with updates, but more than likely the updates were trying to make the camera do things it couldn't handle, e.g. like actually good night mode shots
Got my s10 for 4 years now. Cant set the screen on QHD because my battery lost 1/3 capacity.

FYI: here in Spain (amazon) iphone 14 pro 256gb 1329€, s23 256gb 1019€. 300€ difference... Pricing is relevant here
Here in Indonesia, the price difference is crazier, the 14 pro 256 is €1375 and s23 256 is €875 if converted to euros
iPhone 14 is much more expensive than S23 everywhere except for a few markets. Here in India, where both iPhone 14 and S23 are manufactured, iPhone 14 256GB actually costs 40 euros less than the 256GB S23! But it is a totally different story if you go for the Pros! Then even the iPhone 14 Pro 256GB (yes, the non Pro Max) costs 80 euros more than the S23 Ultra!! I would still choose the base S23 over the iPhone 14 any day despite it being a little more expensive as it is a better phone with lesser compromises than the Ultra compared to the iPhone 14 pros.
What I also wonder is the impact resistance. Yesterday, I dropped a 25kg dumbell on my s9+ and it is still working! On the other hand, my mom's iphone x has slipped from her hand and the screen is broken two times in the same way even with a wind shield and a case. Wondering how fragile are the new iphone and samsung.

I dropped my note 20 ultra 11 times. Even on ice when I slipped. out 11 times I received a tiny unnoticeable scratch on the bottom left. And scratches on corner from taking on and off the cases.
I dropped my s10 alot. Concreet etc. Dont matter the screen wont crack.

You can enable dolby atmos on Samsung which gives you clearer and louder sound
I'm a Samsung user so I have S23, never really wanted an iPhone, but the fact that base S23 which is like 400 Euros cheaper and cost the same as the base iPhone 14 is pretty much similar in spec as the iPhone 14Pro shows its much better value.

I hope youre not talking about the double tap to wake feature at 0:56. It's a built in feature in android :/ Theres a lot of features you can choose from in android os. You can also enable lift to wake in android if you don't want to double tap the screen. Lots of customizations available
It's supposed to be double tap to wake, if you're rapidly pressing a phone, there is a chance it'll miss a tap

Yeah but I gotta say the face unlock on Android works like shit. At least for me lol. iPhone works every time. I do wish their was a fingerprint sensor too though.

I love the convenience of samsung but hate the fact that the company doesn't commit to innovative features in the phones, unlike apple. My A52 is the same as the S23 and the S23 is even smaller. It will feel like I'm getting an older phone than I already have. The eye also wants its part and for this reason, next time I will choose apple despite the cost
They do innovative and the devices are not the same. You just care about looks... then try other phones. Or maybe clothes. A phone is mainly a tool

S23 is more like a real life when it comes to cameras specially the front cameras rather than the IP14 at some point.
Is weird. 120hz on s23 feel more fast and smooth. On iphone 14 pro it feel like 90hz.

Depends, Are you a casual person who doesn't care about phones? Then go for any iPhone it won't matter which model starting from iPhone 12
But if you are someone who likes to work using his phone and wants unlimited features and camera capabilities then go for s23.
Simply put, Samsung has a tremendous amount of features built-in.
IPhones, it's either pay for features from the apple store or they don't even exist.
I am not saying the iPhone is a bad phone.
I am just saying it's simple and doesn't provide many features
Just your casual phone from 2010 features better cameras ofc and a better screen (faster screen)
But for Samsung, I have s22 since 2022 and I still discover features till today

Yep, I can't live without features or else I don't need to buy a phone at all.
iPhones are good for 60 years old mentality or people who don't care about phones generally.
They are smoother a little bit when you navigate throw the phone itself, but at what cost?
It's not noticeable unless you are doing intensive work and usually no one can do intensive work on iPhones because they don't have 1/4 of Samsung features.
You can't increase the music quality on iPhones
But on Samsung, you literally can increase it from Music sittings + sound assistant + developer options
That's an example and it goes for everything on the phone.

I have the iPhone 14 Pro iPhone 14 plus iPhone 12 Pro and I just got my Samsung s23 yesterday and the battery runs down pretty fast so thinking about taking it back although I do love the look and feel of it the battery is the only downside to it I might keep it and see if the updates fix the battery I'm not sure so for now I'm a bit gutted and yes I know I have all these phones don't ask me how as I do not have a clue😂 it's always better to have a back up and I have plenty of them🙈

@@vikalpjoshi2000 well I do have the 14 and the 14 pro my man’s having to use my pro as his pro max broke but if you were to go with iPhone I still say when I had the 13 pro max I absolutely loved it battery lasted a lot lot longer than the 14’s do currently but if you are wanting the newer models either go for the 14 or 14 plus or 14 pro don’t go for the 14 pro max cause my pro battery lasts a lot longer than what my partners pro max did..when I had my 14 plus I loved it but it was to big for my little hands lol so I sold it also my 14 plus battery lasted a lot longer than my 14 does I hope all this makes sense and I hope I’ve managed to help you

Guys, what do you think about s23 50 mpx photos? I was testing it and in my opinion it makes crazy things indoors within a little bit more complicated lighting. Is there any help possible with that? I thought those 50 mpx photos will justify the price of s23, but sadly it didnt :( Like I can just hope they will fix it with an update? But there is no guarantee. And also with gcam it is not possible to use 50 mpx, I have read that Samsung blocks it. If just they could fix those 50 mpx photos, it could be a really great phone. I demand from a phone with this pricetag more than 12 mpx photos.
12mp pics are better in most cases because if the pixel binning
50mp pics having issues like that is why phones don't use high resolution mode by default, pixel binning is usually the way to go
You need to learn how to take photos, yea iPhone doesn't need the skill to take photos but if you know how to use a Samsung camera, You can do magic

And yep all my indoor portrait human or animal photos and outdoors on s23 are better than my 13 pro max
But for objects, I can get better photos from the 13 Pro max, usually people take people photos not a lamb or an object
Doesn't mean s23 is bad when taking object photos but the 13 pro max can give a kinda better more cinematically photos
But if I use pro mode on s23

So summary, s23 is better
Just use 16:9
And always click on the dark area of your photo when you focus unless you are shooting an object or person always click on the dark area of your object for focus
Also 50 mpx is for editing purposes manly
So use raw mode from expert raw app in samsung camera
But aside from that use 16:9
And never ever take normal photos for people
Use portrait 3x 100% the best

So I'm thinking about replacing my galaxy a32 5g as it's camera is bad, it's gaming performance is bad, the processor is terrible at a mediatek demensity 700 and it's just terrible in general. It’s funny how every time i look up reviews comparing iphone to samsung i see ton of hate for iPhones, almost to a personal level. Even most the tech youtubers say that android is the better choice unlike before. However, when im out and about at work/school and even my family, everyone has an iPhone. 7/10 people I know have iPhones. Is this just a US thing or in other countries as well?
