Minnie Vans are BACK at Disney World! | Everything you Need to Know | French Quarter Stop for Food!

- In today's video I head over to the Walt Disney World Resort to show you the best and the most convenient way to get around Disney property which would be the return of the Minnie Van service through Lyft. I show you everything that you need to know about this service with a full breakdown on how to use Minnie Vans. I start at Disney Springs and head to our first stop using the Minnie Van and that is Magic Kingdom because you get dropped off right in the front of the park which allows you to bypass the long security line at the Ticket and Transportation Center and the ferry boat or the monorail lines and that alone is worth the premium price. Next from the Magic Kingdom we get dropped off at Disney's French Quarter Resort for a nice lunch inside of the food court for some gumbo and Mickey shaped beignets! After that we hop on a bus to get back over to Disney Springs to check out some brand new merchandise inside World of Disney. Finally I tell you what you can expect from the Minnie Van service heading into the future with trips to the airport, the cruise port and even the nearest emergency room along with pricing. I haven't had a real one from New Orleans since March 2020 but I had some Mickey ones back in February 2022. So good!

Absolutely LOVE the idea of adding more Tiana and Princess and the Frog theme to the resort!
I found the Minnie Vans are significantly more expensive than Preferred Lyft, and not worth the extra price for my needs. It may be worth it if you have special needs - wheelchair, small children needing car seats, etc. I'm not a fan of Disney creating inconveniences, like requiring regular Lyft to drop off far from park entrance, then bending the rules if you pay extra. You wind up feeling bamboozled.
So glad Ian the driver was happy to be back. Seemed like a happy guy. It’s the small things in life 💯❤️

This is awesome Dev! So much quicker and easier to get around than waiting on the Disney buses! I used Minnie Vans cause it was so much faster to get over to Disney Springs!
We got a free Minnie Van coming from the MCO airport. We were sprinting through the airport to catch our Magical Express bus. It was my very first time going to Disney with my family. It was sooooo magical!!! They even gave us special chocolates and drinks. We were SO thankful!

Dev , gotta say thank you both so much were on day 7 of a 14 day disney vacation. All the way from Ireland and magic kingdom is tomorrow. Your videos have been super helpful. This is our first Disney trip and the food. The sights and the rides and shows advice has been the best we have had. You have help made our family trip so much better. Dev, this was soooo helpful! Thank you! I didn't know the Minnie Vans will handle ECVs. That's good to know. We are DVC at Riviera, and when Skyliner is shut down with storms, we're stranded with the ECV forever waiting for buses at Beach Club.
We've never used the mini-van service but we will keep it in mind, it sounds way more reliable than uber/lyft and the front gate access is very nice too1

Can you use a DISNEY GIFT CARD to pay for the service? Last time, I could only use the credit card on file for the app. It would be great to buy discounted gift cards to use for the Minnie Vans.

Mickey Beignets just hit differently, in such a good way :) they are delicious!
I feel for the cast members who have to deal with the storms and rain at the parks, I saw videos of cast members having to brush out the water from the stores.
That minnie van is awesome! :) It's definitely a great option that I would probably utilize once I go there, and the option of masks and having cast members wear it is an awesome option too :) The cast member Ian seemed like a great guy!

Another great vlog, Dev! Even though we will be using the free transportation and we’ll have our car, our daughter has been begging to ride in one of those Minnie vans. We will do what you did, book a Minnie van and ride it over to Port Orleans for a resort hop and for the beignets, of course! Hope to run into you and Bianca at the parks!
I completely agree with you, love the Minnie Vans and glad there back. I have used this service especially at late nights when to crowded to use the bus. You right drops you off where you want to go. Not that bad on the fee.

Yay! I’m so happy Minnie Vans are back! This was one of my favorite things about Disney. I used them several times on my solo trip because I was uncomfortable with the packed buses!
Minnie Van is the best if you have small kids that need carseats. Makes park breaks mid-day way more efficient than waiting for a bus when you want to stick to a reasonable nap schedule. Wish it was around when we were there in May.
This makes me so happy. I'm nervously trying to book my next trip for august- the last 2 times have been canceled this year due to illness and then a surgery. But seeing familiar things to return to Disney makes me feel hopeful. My last trip was fall of last year and so much had changed, and not for the better.

Unfortunately as of right now, Minnie Vans are not available for airport transportation like they were in the past. No word on if it will be an option in the future again.
This would have been so great when my kids were little! I remember us all kind of losing our minds at the Disney transportation center at the end of the day on our first trip to Disney World.
When we come to Orlando we always get around using Lyft. Really convenient

I love the Minnie vans! I'm glad they are coming back! I've been hoping for Princess and the Frog themed rooms. Tiana is my fav and wanted to stay in the Princess rooms, but our boys said nope!

Dev I had a letter from Princess Tiana in my room there in 2019. I could call a special phone number and be picked up by a larger Minnie Van capable of transporting my rented ECV and me! Wonderful! I budgeted to use that service once a day and then return to my hotel on a bus.

It was only a matter of time for the Minnie Vans to return. Too many guest have been using Uber and Lyft due to the Disney Transportation System being so messed up. It has been taking people over 60 minuets to travel from AKL to MK. Disney was not going to miss out on those Ride Share profits. Cynical? Sure! True? Yep! Glad to see at least the Minnie Vans run as expected. Keep getting these updates out to those of us planning Orlando trips. Another well made product from Prince Charming Dev!

Sooo happy the MINNIE VANS are back! When we stay at Disney we use the Minnie Van's to avoid wait times instead of the Monorail and buses! FANTASTIC Disney day for you and Bianca!! Great video, thanks for letting us know about the car seats was wondering what to do with my 1 year old baby girl who transporting with Uber/Lyfts. Looks like Minnie’s Van is twice the price but probably worth it. I did a couple of texts from hotel to parks or vice versa just a random tests. Minnie vans were 45ish and Lyfts XL were 20s-ish. Just to let everyone know but I’m definitely taking advantage for this. Will try to avoid the buses as much as possible when we got to Disney World this Christmas time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
French quarter has really stepped up their beignets game. I worked there in 2016 and they were really small square shaped and didn't taste that great. The Mickey ones now are so good!

Of course Annie. Disney has said the reservation system is here for a while. I’m hoping they will end it a lot sooner because I am tired of it.

Dollar store folded raincoats- bring extras to take one with you each day..small and efficient

That’s if there’s one even available. I tried booking one from the Contemporary resort and not one showed up on the app. I was SO disappointed because I REALLY needed a car seat for my daughter and LYFT could not guarantee one. I had to end up requesting a Taxi with MEARS.
How much did the minnie van cost? Can I use a Lyft gift card to book the mini van? can I use a Disney gift card to book it? and what time do the mini vans start running? we're trying to strategize getting to magic kingdom super early and this may be the way. thanks for the video
I used to make beignets when I worked at French Quarter and mine would always come out flat. I used to pray to God no one would order beignets during my shift 😩
