Kid Buu may not have been the strongest Buu. But the manga calls him "the most dangerous" due to his unpredictability, relentlessness and wild fighting style. Kid Buu has the ability to learn moves just by watching it done once (instant transmission). He can regenerate faster than his other forms. He appears to be quicker and crazier than the others. Say what you will, but Kid Buu is far more entertaining to watch fight than the other Buu's. And he's the only villain that successfully destroyed earth. His planet buster was so powerful that it had both Vegeta and Goku running only to be saved by Kabito Kai at the last minute. His power level is a mystery. Some believe Kid Buu was never serious against SS3 Goku and suppressed his full power during the fight. Others don't believe that and consider Base Super Buu to be greater in strength. We will never truly know who was stronger, as nothing official was stated in the manga. But nothing changes the fact that Kid Buu was an awesome and merciless villain.
Falso, young lad. When did the other Buus learn instant transmission just by sensing the user using it? The Kamehameha, sure. But almost everyone knows that move, lol. And Super Buu used the moves of those he absorbed. He never used moves that he saw. Only absorbed moves. Fat Buu learned the kamehameha, but that's a small feat.
Kid Buu doesnt nearly have the power level that super buu has. BUT, unlike the other buu forms he does not loose energy, get worn down or tired, and regenerates the quickest. And mix that with his insanity level and you have the most DANGEROUS form of buu. Not the strongest.

Adrian, I have met many people who believe that the people forced Akira Toriyama to bring back Goku as the main character. It is true that after Cell saga, Akira intended to have Gohan be the main character. In the Kanzenshuu website, they had an interview which clearly states Akira personally felt as if Gohan was not suited to be the main character. Akira didn't get that vibe from Gohan like Goku gives off as a main character. Also Super Buu absorbed Gohan or Gotenks is far above Kid buu. But Super Buu base with no absorption is weaker than Kid buu. For people who say Super Buu's power increased because he went Buff and then he went way down after Kid buu appeared are mistaken. First of all, all the Kaioshin are weaker than SSJ1 Goku, seeing how no one was able to pull out the Z sword, yet SSJ 1 Gohan was able to do it and he is weaker than SSJ1 Goku. i am so glad theyre are people that understand that both kais weaken kid buu, a kais energy cant be used by others. it cant be used for evil or be corrupted. its like how only gods can sense another gods ki. kid buu is in fact stronger then super buu. people bring up what goku said as theyre only defense but many feel goku didn't want to use ssj3 unless he had no other choice and doing a fusion dance was the much safer bet. he also knew ssj3 would take a little bit of time to transform and super buu would have killed him before. goku simply was playing safe at that point.

Instead, he held back in order to have a good fight and to give Vegeta a chance however he didn't realize how draining ssj3 was on a living body so when he tried to go to full power it was too late and he had no stamina left to do it. However, Goku against Super Buu said many times the Super Buu would tear them apart even with SSJ3. heck, the first thing he did was suggesting fusing again unlike when he fought kid buu when he destroyed the earings, and the idea of fusing all together showing that he was confident in holding his own against kid buu much more so than super buu. He was able to hold SSJ3 much better than Goku was due to his body being a fusion body and was stated in the Japanese dub of the show that due to Gotenks being a fusion body he could hold and use SSJ3 at full power much easier than Goku could. Which is far better than not even being able to defend himself. It was the good and happiness of Dai Kai which caused the power reduction in Boo for the Fat Boo form. It stands to a very understandable reason that a large increase of rage/anger inside him would increase his power.

Actually Kid Buu is the most powerful of all the Buus. Think of it this way,when any of the Buus absorb somebody, it takes all of the strength that Buu has and all the strength the other people he's absorbed strength, and divides by the number of people. so if he absorbs a weaker person he becomes weaker,rather than stronger.(this was explained in the show,but not with exact percentages etc,i made those up to make the point)

Majin power boost is because of the spell that is on the fighter. Not a hidden potential unlock. Also I forgot to mention before. The self explosion that Fat Boo released was in no way his full power. That blast caused far less destruction to both the surrounding area and every character involved than Vegetas kamikaze blast.
Wouldnt say not a challenge. But definitely cut Boos power down to around 10% of what Super Boo had. Its hard to say where Evil Boo is at, because not only did the manga mention that the evil inside Fat Boo grew greatly, but we don't know what the exact division in their power was, Only that Evil Boo got the larger chunk. The way i put it in my SlamscapeDBZ video was Fet Boos max power grew larger and divided so that Evil Boo was somewhere around the Fat Boo power, and rest went to Good Boo.
In short, I believe it could go either way. Assuming that Super Buu could finish the fight quick enough, he could potentially win. However, if the fight were to drag on for too long, Kid Buu would most likely win as he simply cannot run out of stamina. Kid Buu's unpredictability may also be what determines the outcome of the fight. Other variables may come into play. For example, Super Buu, if possible, could absorb other entities to increase his power level midway through the fight.
Super Buu is definitely stronger than Kid Buu. But Kid Buu`s regeneration ability may be greater than Super Buu`s. He seems to be able to regenerate with allot less effort. Plus it took a big ass spirit bomb to kill him. I think Super Buu would win but I think it would be closer than you think.

Simple fact. Kid buu will win against any buu. Kid Buu has unlimited health, stamina, regeneration, and power. Also, the only way to kill kid Buu, is by using 100% pure energy, like the spirit bomb for example. Super Buu has more power, ability, and knowledge, but all his status is limited. Every fighter, buu absorbs, will make him stronger, more powerfull, and skilled, but it will also grant buu the weakness of every absorbed fighter, and it will limit buu status completely. Kid buu death can only be done with 100% pure energy. Super buu death can be done with (less > 100% pure energy). Kid buu > Any Buu(that absorbed)
Encasing Boo in the ball was a spell. Releasing him was also a spell. Official manga shows kai even saying at first the energy used in the process had killed Boo, before he smoke even formed into fat boo. If there is influence there can easily be more than one. Having an unconnected influence inside kid Boo easily explains why the Buff Boo form AND power would not be maintained. Goku was saying the potara would have made things much easier. And nowhere did he say "toying". Official manga translation says Kid Boo was dragging it out and having fun. Which also does not mean he is toying. Kid Boo does not loose energy or get tried. That combo can easily let him have fun AND max power without stress
Manga description of the situation was " Boo's anger swelled up within him until it popped out as another body. He split into the sweet boo... and the boo of pure wrath." Rage is a common source of power in the DBZ story. Its obviously clear that it was at LEAST a 60-40 split. But having Good Boo with a power less than 50% of the power Fat Boo used on Goku does not work out. That level of power never would have laid a single hit against Kid Boo. Yet he did FAR better than Vegeta did.

This is stated in the mangas. Both in the original japanese manga, and the VizBig edition. Super Boo had Kai influences, as soon as they were removed, his Ki is stated to become stronger and the result of this is Kid Boo. Literally, Super Boo minus all kais results in Kid Boo. Fat Boo does represent both Kaioshins, as when Fat Boo is removed, Boo returns to his original form that has no one absorbed. Disconnecting Good Boo = disconnecting BOTH South Kaioshin and Dai Kaioshin. It's impossible for Boo to be accessing his South Kaioshin-absorbed Ki because South Kaioshin is no longer connected. The ki that began increasing from Super Boo's ki when fat Boo was removed was Kid Boo's ki all along, as that is literally the only Ki left in Boo's system. During Gokus fight with Kid Buu, Goku clearly said: "This Buu is far more powerful than I imagined". And he also regrets, not fusing with Vegeta: "He would be no problem if we fused". And the thing is, Kid Buu was just toying with them: "That idiot could have come right back, hes just prolonged it to toy with us!!" These were quotes from the Manga btw

The boys also didn't fuse together, which means they donated less genki than they potentially could have. That supports the argument that Gohan's group didn't offer everything they had. And of course there's the fact that 17 & 18 could have donated an unlimited supply, but they didn't do that, further proving him wrong. =D

Super Boo is far stronger than just Good Boo + Evil Boo. By an area of around 10x stronger to be an even match for SSJ3 Gotenks. The breaking of the solid connection of the Goob Boo pod caused a reaction in Boo which forced his body to reset itself to its default state. Which explains the appearance of the form and power gain of the Buff Boo, followed by the added transformation and power reduction into the original Kid Boo form.
Both Goku and Piccolo were sure that SSJ Gotenks would be enough for Fat Boo. Piccolo was even about ready to let him fight until Boo transformed into Super Boo. Which is when he began to freak out and immediately shoved the kids into the time chamber.

You're not comprehending. Vegito's ki alone may not be enough to form a full powered SB, but he'd still "clean Buu's clock" as Old Kai said, even decimate him completely with a strong enough blast. The spirit bomb has never worked in DBZ before until against Buu. That means the bulk of SB's power came from the young Z fighters along with the world containing a hell of a lot more kick than the earlier ones which is why it worked once it engulfed Buu.

Keep in mind Boos body is basically puddy. It can get damaged much easier than vegeta. I said the didnt appear to be interested in avoiding it. It was like a half hear ted attempt to get out of the way and didnt care when it did hit him. Anime fillers are useless. Vegeta was clearly unable to even recover from the hits before he got attacked more, while Good Boo actually did get hits in while loosing power as a result of fighting another Boo. Kid Buu may not have been the strongest Buu. But the manga calls him "the most dangerous" due to his unpredictability, relentlessness and wild fighting style. Kid Buu has the ability to learn moves just by watching it done once (instant transmission). He can regenerate faster than his other forms. He appears to be quicker and crazier than the others. Say what you will, but Kid Buu is far more entertaining to watch fight than the other Buu's. And he's the only villain that successfully destroyed earth. His planet buster was so powerful that it had both Vegeta and Goku running only to be saved by Kabito Kai at the last minute. His power level is a mystery. Some believe Kid Buu was never serious against SS3 Goku and suppressed his full power during the fight. Others don't believe that and consider Base Super Buu to be greater in strength. We will never truly know who was stronger, as nothing official was stated in the manga. But nothing changes the fact that Kid Buu was an awesome and merciless villain.

And Super Buu used the moves of those he absorbed. He never used moves that he saw. Only absorbed moves. Fat Buu learned the kamehameha, but that's a small feat.

Adrian, I have met many people who believe that the people forced Akira Toriyama to bring back Goku as the main character. It is true that after Cell saga, Akira intended to have Gohan be the main character. In the Kanzenshuu website, they had an interview which clearly states Akira personally felt as if Gohan was not suited to be the main character. Akira didn't get that vibe from Gohan like Goku gives off as a main character.
Also Super Buu absorbed Gohan or Gotenks is far above Kid buu. But Super Buu base with no absorption is weaker than Kid buu.
For people who say Super Buu's power increased because he went Buff and then he went way down after Kid buu appeared are mistaken. First of all, all the Kaioshin are weaker than SSJ1 Goku, seeing how no one was able to pull out the Z sword, yet SSJ 1 Gohan was able to do it and he is weaker than SSJ1 Goku. Also, he looked SSJ2 in the Anime but he was in fact SSJ1 in the manga when he pulled out the Z sword. So SSJ1 Goku>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> All Kaioshin. Another evidence is when Supreme Kai was afraid to fight Pui Pui and Vegeta in Base destroyed him easily, clearly showing Vegeta base is far above Supreme kai. Since south Kai is the strongest kai known, he might be stronger than Vegeta and Goku base but not their SSJ1 form as proven above.
Also all the Kaioshin are a weakness to Buu, when he absorbed the South Kai, he became a little weaker but he was still out of control. When he absorbed the good Dai Kaioshin. That is when his power decreased drastically and he became controllable. I also know the Manga didn't state that South Kai made Kid buu a little weaker but at the same time, it didn't state he got stronger after absorbing him. Since the Kaioshin are a weakness to Buu, why would absorbing South Kai make him stronger? Even Vegito unfused after entering Buu's body when he took down his defense because of the potara earrings. Another proof is when Dabura was first introduced, he clearly states that they can't use the energy of Supreme Kai and Kabito, since they are kais. But he did say "we can use the others". If someone brings up the debate of the Kai's being too weak so that is why Dabura ignored them are incorrect. Seeing how Dabura considered Krillin and Picoolo as potential energy they can get, and they are weaker than Supreme Kai. So yeah, please understand that the Kai's are a weakness to Buu. South Kai couldn't have made Kid Buu stronger. He Either stayed the same strength or got a little weaker. When Kid buu finally appeared, not once was it stated his power dropped.
Goku and Vegeta simply underestimated Kid buu because of his size, and they stated that multiple times when fighting him. Goku also suggested bringing Gohan and Gotenks to help him out during the fight when the Earth and all of the people in it were brought back to life.
So yeah, Goku suggesting that idea of Gohan and Gotenks helping him out clearly shows us Kid Buu is the real deal, he didn't say just Gohan or just Gotenks, but both of them. Kid boo is not the strongest Buu, but he is the strongest UNFUSED Buu. Also if Kid buu were to ever return, Goku decided he would train to stop him, if Gohan and Gotenks could take care of Kid Buu, there wouldn't be much of a problem then, but that wasn't the case.
So yeah, Super Buu absorbed Gohan or Gotenks is stronger than Kid buu, but Super Buu base is weaker.

i am so glad theyre are people that understand that both kais weaken kid buu, a kais energy cant be used by others. it cant be used for evil or be corrupted. its like how only gods can sense another gods ki. kid buu is in fact stronger then super buu. people bring up what goku said as theyre only defense but many feel goku didn't want to use ssj3 unless he had no other choice and doing a fusion dance was the much safer bet. he also knew ssj3 would take a little bit of time to transform and super buu would have killed him before. goku simply was playing safe at that point.

Instead, he held back in order to have a good fight and to give Vegeta a chance however he didn't realize how draining ssj3 was on a living body so when he tried to go to full power it was too late and he had no stamina left to do it. He was able to hold SSJ3 much better than Goku was due to his body being a fusion body and was stated in the Japanese dub of the show that due to Gotenks being a fusion body he could hold and use SSJ3 at full power much easier than Goku could. @Dian Also Fat Buu before splitting was technically stronger than kid Buu however he was unable to access the additional Kai's power due to the Dai Kaio's goodness surpressing Buu's power and evil nature which in turn made him weaker. Super Buu is literally Buu's evil taking majority control of the Kai's power and interlect alongside his own however it is revealed soon later that even the Evil within Buu didn't have 100 % control since he still doesn't kill Mr Satan due to retaining good memory's of his time with him and also Super Buu unlike kid buu didn't really torture his opponents and instead got them killed quickly if they seemed like a waste of time where as kid buu intentionally holds back especially against Vegeta just for torture and satisfaction until he is bored. Also I know this might seem mad but it makes much more sense in the long haul for Super Buu to be stronger than Kid Buu. What would be the point of Kid Buu absorbing the Kai's if he didn't get stronger? Also did you not notice how Goku was always against beating Super Buu in a 1v1 and always stated that he would be killed yet against kid Buu he was really up to fight kid buu? Since when does Goku back down from a fight? Yes there are contradictions saying that Kid Buu was the most powerful Buu but that doesn't match previous statements or make much sense as it would then make kid Buu's absorbtions when fighting the Kai's or when fighting Vegito and Gohan pointless if it made him weaker and but it was Toriyama who wrote this and he's literally known for forgetting stuff so he probs confused himself writing Kid Buu.
Also side note - notice how after kid buu has been reborn Vegeta is much more confident in taking him down which would make no sense if Buu's power had gone up stating that "he's totally puny" which obviously could be referring to his size but also could be referring to his power in comparison to Super Buu. But Vegeta didn't expect Kid Buu to be though weaker, much more torturous and pure evil going straight to blowing up the planet 😂
Overall I get why some people think kid buu is the strongest Buu however based on what we have already seen from Buu and heard from other characters it makes literally 0 sense. Kid Buu though does he the best regeneration ability out of all the Buu's due to being Pure Buu as shown in the time he takes to regenerate in the manga and in the anime.

Which is far better than not even being able to defend himself. It was the good and happiness of Dai Kai which caused the power reduction in Boo for the Fat Boo form. It stands to a very understandable reason that a large increase of rage/anger inside him would increase his power.

Actually Kid Buu is the most powerful of all the Buus. Think of it this way,when any of the Buus absorb somebody, it takes all of the strength that Buu has and all the strength the other people he's absorbed strength, and divides by the number of people. so if he absorbs a weaker person he becomes weaker,rather than stronger.(this was explained in the show,but not with exact percentages etc,i made those up to make the point)

Its hard to say where Evil Boo is at, because not only did the manga mention that the evil inside Fat Boo grew greatly, but we don't know what the exact division in their power was, Only that Evil Boo got the larger chunk.
The way i put it in my SlamscapeDBZ video was Fet Boos max power grew larger and divided so that Evil Boo was somewhere around the Fat Boo power, and rest went to Good Boo.
In short, I believe it could go either way.
Assuming that Super Buu could finish the fight quick enough, he could potentially win. However, if the fight were to drag on for too long, Kid Buu would most likely win as he simply cannot run out of stamina. Kid Buu's unpredictability may also be what determines the outcome of the fight. Other variables may come into play. For example, Super Buu, if possible, could absorb other entities to increase his power level midway through the fight.

Simple fact. Kid buu will win against any buu. Kid Buu has unlimited health, stamina, regeneration, and power. Also, the only way to kill kid Buu, is by using 100% pure energy, like the spirit bomb for example. Super Buu has more power, ability, and knowledge, but all his status is limited. Every fighter, buu absorbs, will make him stronger, more powerfull, and skilled, but it will also grant buu the weakness of every absorbed fighter, and it will limit buu status completely. Kid buu death can only be done with 100% pure energy. Super buu death can be done with (less > 100% pure energy). Kid buu > Any Buu(that absorbed)

Encasing Boo in the ball was a spell. Releasing him was also a spell. Official manga shows kai even saying at first the energy used in the process had killed Boo, before he smoke even formed into fat boo. Meaning the energy has a different purpose than being supplied as Boo's power.

If there is influence there can easily be more than one. Having an unconnected influence inside kid Boo easily explains why the Buff Boo form AND power would not be maintained.
Goku was saying the potara would have made things much easier. And nowhere did he say "toying". Official manga translation says Kid Boo was dragging it out and having fun. Which also does not mean he is toying. Kid Boo does not loose energy or get tried. That combo can easily let him have fun AND max power without stress

Rage is a common source of power in the DBZ story. Its obviously clear that it was at LEAST a 60-40 split. But having Good Boo with a power less than 50% of the power Fat Boo used on Goku does not work out. That level of power never would have laid a single hit against Kid Boo. Disconnecting Good Boo = disconnecting BOTH South Kaioshin and Dai Kaioshin. It's impossible for Boo to be accessing his South Kaioshin-absorbed Ki because South Kaioshin is no longer connected. The ki that began increasing from Super Boo's ki when fat Boo was removed was Kid Boo's ki all along, as that is literally the only Ki left in Boo's system.
During Gokus fight with Kid Buu, Goku clearly said: "This Buu is far more powerful than I imagined". And he also regrets, not fusing with Vegeta: "He would be no problem if we fused". And the thing is, Kid Buu was just toying with them: "That idiot could have come right back, hes just prolonged it to toy with us!!" These were quotes from the Manga btw

The boys also didn't fuse together, which means they donated less genki than they potentially could have. That supports the argument that Gohan's group didn't offer everything they had. You're not comprehending. Vegito's ki alone may not be enough to form a full powered SB, but he'd still "clean Buu's clock" as Old Kai said, even decimate him completely with a strong enough blast. The spirit bomb has never worked in DBZ before until against Buu. That means the bulk of SB's power came from the young Z fighters along with the world containing a hell of a lot more kick than the earlier ones which is why it worked once it engulfed Buu.

Kid Buu is actually slightly a stronger fighter than Ultimate Gohan I would say because of Buu's absorption, regeneration, stamina, ultimate attacks & other body abilities + Gohan hadn't been training, And If Gohan was "WAY" Stronger they would've taken him back to the battle when he was wished back ;) to defeat Buu but they saw that Kid Buu was just too strong even for him.
Kid Buu wasn't scared or phased at all & even laughed when Goku transformed into a SSJ3 (who isn't much weaker than Ult Gohan) and made fun of Goku during battle even getting bored. Goku never did any permanent damage against kid buu, but kid Buu did lots damage to SSJ3Goku, forcing Goku to take a break. Kid Buu didn't even use 100% of his powers against SSJ3 Goku Until the Spirit Bomb which he pushed back with force until Goku got All his Saiyan powers back and Still used them All up Again just to finish Kid Buu off.
