That guy who chose Jin as an easy contender who'll lose, many people say he is Jin's friend and was only teasing. But in the crowd you could hear a fan scream Jin's name even before the answer. It was around 2015 I guess? BTS were starting to rise and going through extreme hate at that time. Jin was constantly called the weakest link in the group. Even if the guy was friendly joking, Jungkook's reaction says it all. JK didn't find it funny. Especially when we all know how much JK cares about Jin.

Yeah Ken from Vixx was the first one and Jin’s friend.
i really don't think it's that deep lmao. JK is competitive anyways and regardless of what member he'd pick, jungkook would still want to win it if one of them lost. And at that time, most non-fans and general public didn't know all the members names of bts so the person calling Jin's name was probably an army who wanted to see him compete.
That episode with JK doing the climbing wall is fascinating, because Lee Min Woo is a 2nd generation Kpop Idol and so there was a fascinating dynamic the whole time--you can tell that they are both super competitive and that Lee Min Woo was low-key flexing to take JK to the climbing gym, trying to show everyone watching that he might be a lot older (their group debuted the year Jungkook was born!) but he is still in excellent physical condition and can show this young pup a thing or two--but then, JK. Lee Min Woo handled it with grace and was quick to compliment. : )

The basketball hoop thing was a joke bc they were watching him and laughing… so he kept doing it bc he loves to make them laugh… competitive would be if he tried to do that and say he actually scored them the right way just to win…. He’s pretty average when it comes to needing to win lol it’s like BTS started this rumor when jk was younger bc he kept beating them at everything and it hurt their pride lmao

Well In siding Jhope out of photo..that was instinct of his reflexes & at other times (like beat RM in that basketball score) it were all for fun in kidding way and not for real or in seriousness coz In actual competition situations (including Run bts) JK really never lies or cheats even if he have to lose in something for that coz In childhood His mom once scolded baby JK for try cheat/lie & told that Even if he gets absolutely 0 or lose in smthing in life while doing it with sincerity she will be more happy & proud and won't get angry on him at all than him getting 100 in anything by cheating or try lying for smthing..Which he forever remember & obeys in life.
1:05 funny thing is that right before jk and hobi went… tae and jimin were both pushing each other out of the picture and trying to mess each other up the whole time they were going. Jungkook is used to hanging out with the maknae line… and he followed their example lol he forgot it was hobi and not the super competitive 95 liners lmao that was his only frame of reference 😇

11:21 it’s so sad and the staff don’t help bc jungkook is a pretty good bowler so instead of playing teams against each other they made it “everyone beat jungkook” and they do this all the time lol so the put them all up against him and poor sweet jungkook he’s still cheering for each of them and answering questions they have about how to hold the ball and stuff…. But yoongi and Jin will start ripping into him and literally taking shot after to shot after shot at poor jk who of course isn’t going to say anything back bc he’s younger so he basically is getting relentlessly dragged through this entire bowling game lol if they get a strike or spare he congratulated them and cheers for them and yoongi will tell everyone they’re better than jungkook … or the same but “jungkook practiced” and start laughing at him or make fun of him if he misses a spare or something … but the poor kid just gets quiet but stays supportive and the others start to realize it’s gone too long or too far so they start to compliment him or be nice to him. Definitely absolutely brother energy lol they’re family .. it’s what family does … they love him to death… he knows that.
This is a good example of how jk really isn’t super competitive at all… he was so nice and supportive the whole time… he wasn’t rubbing it in their faces when he won or did better.. like I couldn’t have stayed that calm honestly .. I would get pissed.. but when I get losses playing sports.. I’m unstoppable lol so I don’t mind.. but you can only take being singled out and picked on for so long by 6 other ppl without it starting to get to you …. But jk barely even cares the whole time. To me this makes suga seem more competitive bc he’s clearly trying to rattle jk to throw him off and make him mess up … and jks still cheering for suga lol
