Well, I just looked up the difference between white, pink and brown noise, and it's actually quite interesting. Which one is the best depends on the individual, but they're all basically the same thing at different frequencies. It's interesting stuff!
The downside is I came here to concentrate, but got so distracted in what the difference was I wasted about five minutes of my time. Oops, maybe save looking it up until after you've done your work!
