The song Turning Japanese is a classic, great song, great band
Love 80s music. So much innovation and variety.
The Vapors were not a 'one hit wonder'. They had other singles that charted. Obviously 'Turning Japanese' was by far the biggest success. I think it short changes many bands to stick 'one hit wonder' on them. Also happened to the Knack and others. Bands work very hard, and labeling all of that as a 'one hit wonder' isn't fair in my opinion. The Vapors did 2 really good albums full of good tunes...
He aged like wine
80's bands like the vapors are definitely the best ever ..
Great band

Rude! Everyone ages.
@@ariesleorising9421 Why "rude"?...It's the real life!...SILLY! 😜
That grandpa probably has more talent in his pinky toe than you have all together lol poor child 😅
I think he's a lawyer or something like in the music buisness. Or at least I thought I read that somewhere.
Anyone who can get a song about a man’s ‘come face ‘ past the BBC sensors on the premise that they think it’s about Japanese culture is alright with me !
