Another that im considering instead of the 2002 is the 1600 limited gold edition from Japan. And i want to suggest them to u as well, get yourself a pair and do a review, i bet u will fall in love for them, over any other (including any from 990 series). The 1600 is the most underrated model in my opinion, but theire absolutely amazing, specially the limited edition.
Nowadays its easy to buy new balance since botiques or stores are already available in most of the mall but same problem as always, there is always an availabilty of models and colorways but seems the sizes does not guarantee its exists for all sizes in every store
I think I got mine at somewhere around the 7000-7500 peso range if I remember correctly, but I apologize if that’s no longer the case with resellers here

Too bad they dont sell these in Asia. India is at best stuck with the 997H and 500 series for the casual sneakers.
I have a pair of 2002r's and I don't like how they bend/crease on the side. They're not really meant for flat feet, but they're pretty comfortable.
