@@joedewberry thanks Joe!! this time a producer mixed it for me, I usually use more reverb for vocals and guitars, also I don't like my voice in the foreground, but he advised me to leave it like that because it's more "intimate"... I tried to follow his advice!
@@RoseAkerman Many thanks Rose!!! this time a producer remixed it for me, I usually use more teverb because I don't like hearing my voice too far in front, but this producer advised me to try it like this and so I said: why not??
This is my favorite of yours. Thanks for the remix. There are ways we can collaborate if are interested. I have home recording gear and a bunch of guitars. I play acoustic a lot. It is actually my favorite way to enjoy playing guitar. If you get a chance sometime checkout the Acoustic Originals playlist on my channel. I've gotten a lot of comments lately about my AI stuff and most of my views come from those. But my roots are in acoustic guitar. Something about it just comes from the soul. My dad started teaching me when I was 8 or 9 years old. Wrote a song about that. It is also on my channel. It is called ThankYouDad.
@@srjii I listened to some acoustic guitar songs on your channel and also "thank you dad"...your way of playing the acoustic guitar reminds me a bit of James Taylor's sounds, I listened to almost everything by him, and when I was a boy I learned many strange chords trying to cover his songs!... What do you mean exactly about collaborating?
Yeah I grew up with JT on the radio and got interested in finger style because of his playing and the finger style guitarist that played with Jim Croce. I play some different styles including some blues. I am planning to work more on the blues and been playing my electric guitars some these day. As far a collaboration goes we can probably work out a way to share audio files in WAV format. I use both Audacity and Logic pro. I don't use the midi stuff much, but I have a Fishman midi adapter on my Les Paul. If you are interested I will start thinking about ideas for a starting point.
@ I also use logic pro, I also come from the blues but also from rock and country... I mainly listened to: Dire Straits, J.J. Cale, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hames Taylor, Johnny Cash, Crosby, Still & Nash, Eagles... and others... just to let you know my musical tastes... yes, I like the idea of collaborating with other musicians, I'm already doing it with another, but I'm open to any constructive collaboration... at the moment I don't have a band, I write songs and record them at home overdubbing voices, guitars and bass (which I do all by myself) except the drums I create from Logic pro... then we will have to exchange an email address if we want to try to do this collaboration. what do you think?
we would run into problems with email. Me email attachment limit is 25MB and the wave files are often larger than that. If you agree I can establish a shared google drive space and we can set it up so only the two of us have access to it. I can work on that tomorrow. Do you want to do it that way?
This is beautiful! The new mix makes it more poignant.
