  • 👉 Learn how to graph quadratics in standard form. A quadratic equation is an equation whose highest exponent in the variable(s) is 2. To graph a quadratic equation, we make use of a table of values and the fact that the graph of a quadratic is a parabola which has an axis of symmetry, to plot some points to one side of the axis of symmetry and then refrect the plotted points about the axis of symmetry.

@@mr.thundercock4961 Some teachers quite literally don’t want to do their job. My math teacher for the past two years would shove us in one of the classrooms in the school library and just leave us without giving work (so she could go drink coffee with her teacher friends). When we would go to ask her what we are meant to do or to ask for help because no one knew what we were doing she would tell us that we need to problem solve and ask our peers or just straight up ignore us. Then when 75% of the class failed she would lecture us on effective studying and how we were “slacking off”. So you see, I would be thoroughly grateful to have a teacher who actually taught.

    0:31 find axis of symmetry by using the formula (. x = - b/2a )
2:18 but first determine if graph is going to open "up" or open " down"
when a>0 ( a is greater than 0 ) your graph is going to open "up"
*MEANING the vertex is going to be a "minimum" point .
3:13 NOW WE'LL FIND our tables of value AFTER determining if our graph will open "up" or "down" .( ask , how is our "x" value of our vertex related to our axis of symmetry ? 3:57 )
our vertex HAS TO RUN THROUGH our axis of symmetry , and since we determined **by using the formula ** ( x = - b / 2a ) that our "axis of symmetry" is 4 , THEN our x value of our vertex IS ALSO 4 .
4:17 how to determine y value ( really your * f(x) value ** ) of the vertex by plugging your x value of your vertex in your function ) so you can "graph " the vertex .
5:13 determine atleast "two points " to the left and "two points to the right of your "graphed vertex ) by table of values
6:36 using shortcut of "symmetry " by finding two points to the left or right and "since" its symmetrical you can jus "mirror your three "graphed" points you have , to finish graphing ...

We personalise teaching on the premise that every human being is uniquely made/created. Every students has intelligence that is unique and different from other students. Similarly learning abilities and styles also vary from student to student. Keeping in view this theory one on one class with student can help student more in learning than a combined class. Moreover, it would be easy for a teacher to assess student by pointing out weakness and work on them to enhance learning and performing best in the exams etc. This can only be made possible if a teacher is certified pedagogist and he/she excelled in subject/course teaching content with enough teaching experience. We offer following course individual tutorial/classes online.
Mathematics: Grade 1-12 (IGCSE/A,O levels), Canada, USA, UK based syllabus
Physics Grade 1-12 (IGCSE A/O levels), Canada, USA, UK based syllabus.
      English grammar and composition.
      Biology upto grade 8.

I hate to say this but if a student asks "how did you get 2a" the answer was "Because that's the formula for... That was in your last class notes", is a terrible response... Obviously the student didn't get the importance of that formula and it should've been reiterated... This is definitely why I never got math either... teachers who dismiss a student's honest question with a shitty attitude. #BadFormSir

There is no explanation for a formula...him saying that its the formula is the best he can say and he would obviously become frustrated if it had been explained previously and no attention was paid to it
