You can be a conservative and not be enamoured with Trump's character, his divisive nature and willingness to treat foreign affairs as purely transactional. To try and justify some of his behaviour, particularly his reluctance to to reign in Jan 6 protestors and asking Mike Pence to reject votes (they are Pence's words) based on what the Democrats have or haven't done is just a distraction. I wish there were different candidates for both parties to be honest and thank god Biden's gone. The world needs a strong undivided US. Neither candidate, in my view, will provide this. BTW I am conservative.

He was speaking to those Christians who think they aren't supposed to vote, but who see the country going to hell in a handbasket. He's asking them to vote so that he has the opportunity to fix the country so they can go back to not voting and not have the country headed in a direction they don't agree with. The problem will be fixed, not the elections will be fixed.
