This is so true! Such a nice vid
Thank you!!
I made the same salary as you when I was an English teacher 8 years ago. So sad that they don't raise it up. Basically had to do tons of private lessons on the side to make enough money to have fun.
Oh wow that’s really sad! Taxes keep increasing and income doesn’t. Have you changed industries since then or gone back home?
@@franklinthewoman yes, Human Resources. It matches well to teaching 😊.
That sounds pretty nice ☺️
You got a point

Still can’t save money 😢
Mmh I’m not sure about the charge to put coin on ATM. Because today I’m about do the cash deposit and on the atm screen (Japan Post Bank) mentioned that there is fee if there ia a coin in our cash deposit
Oh that’s a shame! I guess it all depends on the bank 😭 I’ve deposited my coins at Mizuho and SMBC and there hasn’t been a fee 😔
@@franklinthewoman yess, I thought the same thing at first. When I see the fee table, I put my coins back 🤣
😂😂😂
Good video
How much do you earn after tax?
¥250,000/month is not what I make but it’s the average I’ve seen when job hunting. I think tax might depend on where you live in japan!
❤️
Oh, nice tip! Those 500s add up pretty quickly 😁
They do! And one of these days I’ll actually let the jar fill up before I spend it 😂
im not gonna follow the tip because i hate keeping coins. But i watched the video till the end because you are fun :D
Hahah that’s alright to each his own! Thanks for sticking around anyway 😎
Genius
Gotta keep it simple
omg such a good ideaaaa!!! do you know if the 7/11 atms accept coins to put in?
Also, if I don't spend my 500 yen on a latte, I will end up spending it on snacks or sth else xD so better put it away xDDDD My mom actually has a piggy bank too and she always saves money for 1 year and then exchanges it with gold in Turkey because gold never looses value :D
I don’t think the conbini ones have it 😭 the bank ones def do though. To resist the temptation of spending the ¥500 coin just empty your wallet as soon as you get home every day!
Your mom is really smart 💪🏻
@@franklinthewoman i always thought she could have been a business woman if she got the education for that 😅 Oh noooo!!! Because my bank's atms are 7/11 atms as well 😅 i am at Shinsei so we dont have any other atms we could use :/
Merveille Travel Shinsei doesn’t have their own atms?! I didn’t know that! I have an account with them but don’t use it anymore
In India we can give our coins to bus conductor and shop keepers 😎
It’s pretty useful to have coins! Some people hate them 😂
