- Brissago is a Swiss town located on Lago Maggiore in the Canton of Ticino. Travelers and residents love Brissago for its warm climate (almost subtropical) that allows for exotic plants to grow. For this reason you will find many palm trees and flowers you don't normally see in Switzerland. In this travel video you will be on a relaxing evening walk at the promenade of Brissago where the sun is just about to go down.

I wonder what kind of winter temperatures are normal around the lake? It's pretty far north and away from the ocean - that lake water must be providing a lot of protection from extreme cold.
