      @@andrewcross8244 Andy my little boy, YOU are a joke, a troll and a hater. GFY. Of course he paid dearly to have the opportunity of a lifetime to meet KISS and jam with them. At least KISS is raking in the big money while your morbidly obese butt is playing with trading cards and/or video games in your moms house, eating Doritos and mooching off of your family. Don't be such a whiny crybaby. All of the videos on your pissy little channel are you talking sh!t about everything and everybody. Seriously dude, go see a shrink! You have issues!

    Very nice, Yves! And so cool of KISS to let you play with them... Have you heard of Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp? I got to perform with Paul Stanley at the Playboy Mansion a few years ago, and found out that he was one of the first rock stars to sign on to RRFC... Oh, and Eric wasn't scheduled to appear, but he came with Paul. I had hoped Gene would show up for the show, but he didn't. However, Gene is doing a Camp in Vegas at the end of this month. Also, Bruce Kulick is a regular Fantasy Camp counselor, and about a year or two ago, Peter Criss did one in New York. Oh, and my first time at a Fantasy Camp was in 2010, and Ace Frehley came to our practice rooms and played a song with each of the bands. Additionally, you may or may not be aware that KISS launched the KISS Navy a few years ago, which is an annual cruise with the band, where they give a lot of fans the chance to play with them. Yeah, they make a lot of money from such events, but they really do still give you your money's worth, don't they?

    I think its so great that Eric looks at the roadie while "checking" the mic at the end, almost taunting him. Me being a drummer I think it's so funny,first impression...well the first part of this vid tells me that they really don't want the drummer singing since they never gave him a "hot" mic..you can read Eric's lips and he's saying "What the F@#K was that for??"(1:47-1:50) when they first start the song...and then the roadie comes back and gives him a "live" mic..he wave's it off at first(1:58-2:00)..no respect...even with KISS.

      @@VendettaAustralia You're talking shite there, trying to defend fleecing fans anyway you can. Kiss released 16 of their records before internet speeds were decent enough to bite into record sales, and 2 after. They have had 14 platinum records, 3 multi platinum. They made their money just fine selling records. And that's not even considering someone like Eminem having managed to make 200+ million dollars when all bit one or two of his records were after internet speeds allowed for illegal downloads. The way Gene Simmons acts is out of sheer greed.
      Also, there's looking for money out side of record sales, by touring, playing festivals, licencing deals for their music, image, ec cetera, all things Kiss done, and then there's taking advantage of socially awkward, autistic level obsessed fans with a bit of money. Which is exactly what Gene Simmons has been doing with his vault, his cruises, selling basses used for one song at one gig for tens of thousands of dollars. It's indefensible. Have a watch of a few of the cruise videos, and see if you can find him going a whole hour (in one chunk) where he's not acting sleezy and shit with women, even those married to men who paid to go on the cruise as well.

    • @TheRedSphinx
      @TheRedSphinx 4 роки тому +2

      @@mr.anonymous5501 No, it's not indefensible, as long as there is a market for it. If some jackass wants to pay ten grand for a "staged used bass", more power to Gene Simmons, and I'm not even a Kiss fan, since they suck big dick. I've never understood the urge people have to meet their favourite artist/band though, but apparently there are people willing to pay good money for a meet and greet, and buy expensive, shitty, memorabila + "VIP tickets".

    I think Gene played the part well... The more I see of him the more I realise he's the cool one and it's Paul that's the arse. 🤘

    I feel like Gene was pretty rude on this as if he didn't like that fact that this fan was playing. Fine that he was tuning the bass but he was jumping in there doing backups and as soon as the song was over he was pretty much ripping the guitar off the poor guy. Have some class and patience Gene. He didn't even care the guy was a fan (and his fake clapping was proof); he was just more worried about himself and the camera time :(

      it kinda shows what a control freak Gene is.

      He let a fan play the bass for gods sake. Isn't that enough?

      +LudwigSC93 Nah man, Gene was NOT being rude, he was simply pottering around, being comedic... You obviously have no idea what it is for a musician to HAND OVER HIS INSTRUMENT to a stranger. That's like giving your soul away. Just for doing THAT alone, Gene proved his worth.

      Jon Dunmore actually I do know what it's like as I am a musician but I'm not a dick about it. Btw I have been a big Kiss fan for many years so don't troll.

      +LudwigSC93 You do realize that they have a limited amount of time to play for the fans at these little unplugged sets, so Gene just wanted to keep things moving so that they could play as many songs as possible before they had to go.
