Fyrsta-meaning "first" in Old Norse-is a celebration of beginnings, a journey into the unknown, and an homage to the raw beauty of Scandinavian nature and mythology. Each track on this EP carries a story rooted in the interplay of darkness and light, calm and transformation.
From the introspective shadows of Myrkr to the glimmer of hope in Ljósgeisli, this EP captures the essence of nature as a guiding force with Vindrós and plunges into the profound depths of Djúpr. It slows to the quiet stillness of Kyrrð before closing with Sólhvarf, a reflection on cycles and change, inspired by the solstice.
