I've always liked open drums, but when he plays his kit altogether at 5:52 you can tell all his sounds work right for his style. Bless
26 inch ride.... Absolute insanity! But hey, it sounds awesome!
is the John Bonham kit
Thank you for posting this video! Brendan Tan is such a great bloke! That Blackbird snare is a beast!
I'm really waiting for this for years
Omg your cymbals are MASSIVE ! I have 14 inch high hats, 17 and 14 inch crash, 18 inch crash ride and 20 inch ride but I didn’t even know they went to 26 inches DAMN
His high hats are crashes, his crashes are rides, and his ride is a gong.
Literally every worship drummer nowadays lol
That start was cool I like you Hillsong young and free
I like the way he speak always smile 😀
I also would love to see the " keys rig tour " ! Other keys players would love it too! ♥
Great idea!!
dear brendan. i think the world of yur druming; your just good; keep on druming for christ; im behind you bud; your fan; terry
Legend.
Thanks for the vid, Brendan! You’re awesome!
already watch the part 2 also, love it!!! Thanks worshiponline to make this video
Nice simple and clean playing
those hats 😭
Aka the dude who tunes the snare while playing.
Thanks dude you rock
Appreciate you, dude 👊
you're my fav drummer ever 🔥
That snare though
Good stuff! 🔥 Would be cool to get Ish Melton and Dan McMurray on here as well!
Brendan and Y&F the best forever
Lovely.... Beautiful
Those are some big cymbals
"I like to use 21 inch ride cymbals as my hi hats, a 26 and 28 inch ride for my crashes , and a 42" gong as my main ride cymbal"
Do you know what stand he used for his SPD? Been looking for something that short. Impossible to find.
He used a short snare stand!
what’s the name of the company your cymbals were made by🤔
Brendan Tan uses Heartbeat cymbals. He actually did a rig rundown video with us and shared everything he uses on tour. Check it out! ua-cam.com/video/CmZ6fXgPC4Q/v-deo.html
Wow he has aged, still one of my favorite drummers !
I think he's in his mid to late 20s. The bio on heartbeat says he's 24. I'm assuming it's been 3 years since that article.
@@AObando2002 maybe he hadn’t gotten any sleep lol
Hi there, sorry I want to ask about your small box for your Basics Ultimate Ears 11, Basal , Drum Key, Moon Gel. How can I buy that kind of box for the small stuff?
We recommend trying Amazon! They have a lot of options!
When the crashes are bigger than my kick drum 🥲
How many strands on the puresound?
I want a ride just like that one, that is more darker and not that bright
Heartbeat has a ton of amazing options that you should definitely checkout!!
Definitely a rock drummer but he got chops. Bet you put him behind a gospel kit...he would shreeeed
What the difference between a “gospel kit” and the kit he’s playing??
@@DrummerForChrist100 gospel kits have more drums...3 to 5 toms with much brighter cymbals 16 to 20 inches and the snare is MUCH more responsive, higher in pitch.
@@BBT609 i think that’s more of a stereotype man. It doesn’t make sense that by adding 2-3 more toms and a splash cymbal, that now automatically makes a kit a “gospel drum set”.
@@DrummerForChrist100 well I do know what I'm talking about. Its not just a stereotype...rather...its whats mainly seen and heard...or what I mean is tuned and posted for a gospel setting. Im a drummer myself. I've played it CCM and gospel.
Waooo!!!
holy crap his playing is so tasty
Will there answers for questions from Instagram?
yes thanks for your patience!
Ok. So on the snare batter you have an HD Dry head + a Snareweight + a Moongel? Good grief! It's a wonder that drum produces any tone at all!
I can't get behind all of the dark , tuned down, muffled, moon jelled to death drummers it sounds like you put a thick blanket over your drum set
bit too much on the thin, big, dark and dry ...but then again, once a new trends come in he'll likely will go towards that, in an extreme way!
Based on what?
