The LTV 1150 is a great ventilator. It's rather old and You have to have an LTM to view waveforms, but It's wonderful, being that it has the flow sensors at the wye. I like that. Would I choose it over a VOCSN. NO! Would I give it a five star rating? No. But It's a good ICU ventilator. It's a good ventilator for home care. I do wish it could be corrected so that it wouldn't push secretions in when you're suctioning. Vents like the Hamilton and the Servo don't have that problem, but with home vents like the LTV, and the Trilogy Evo, There's no way around that.
wait, Im not sure if I udnerstood that correctly. Are you saying when you suction a patient while on LTV and Trilogy that the secretions push into the vent tubing?? What are the secretions pushing into?

@@FAiRWARNiNG_Podcast The secretions are pushed into the lungs, because even when you suction the vent still administers a breath while suctioning.
