Delivery Outcomes at the Colorado Fetal Care Center

Since the inception of the Labor and Delivery Unit at the Colorado Fetal Care Center, one of only a few such hospitals in the U.S., we have delivered over 2,200 babies. With everything under the same roof, we’ve been able to achieve better delivery rates despite the fact that we care for moms with high-risk pregnancies.
In this video, Franklin Chow, MD, highlights the successes of our Labor and Delivery Unit, including insights on babies with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, intrauterine growth restriction, gastroschisis and hypoplastic left heart syndrome. He also addresses how we’ve surpassed national cesarean section, or C-section, averages and our approach to determining which babies can safely withstand vaginal delivery.
