Oh man- you guys get it! ;) B is my sis in law and she and my sister worked really, really, really hard to open it and the subsequent places- thanks for this great video!
I thought I caught a Persian accent from your friend Pouya. He’s so charming. Have you done a video on little Saigon? You made me hungry for Saigon Sandwich on Larkin.😁
Brazilian steakhouses have now become common. Not anything unique or special to a traveler coming to San Francisco. You can now find them in quite a few other cities and states.
I love Brazilian steakhouses even though I don't eat most meats! Fogo de Chao is excellent as is Espetus. Usually I down a couple of caipirinhas while I'm at it!! 🥃
What’s up with all these restaurants putting sauce on their grits. I am originally from the south we do not put sauce on our grits. That’s a northern thing. Our grits are rich creamy you don’t need sauce for our grits. And it’s mainly fish and grits.
I llooooovvveee their shrimp and grits! Their crawfish beignets are incredible too!
Agreed!
Yummers! I went to Brenda’s Soulfood for BFC & beignets when I was over from NZ in June, so good!
I can't wait to try the étouffée
I give you an A on this great video. My mouth is watering and my feet are pulling me to Brenda's.
Haha! You're feet have the right idea...

Zeene InRealLife sadly, no, since I live in Chicago but of course I do every time I’m in SF!
I'm in San Francisco now and there has been so many places where I've said "oh that's where she went" Thanks for helping plan our trip
Awesome! Glad it was helpful :) Hope you had an great trip!
@@ZeeneInRealLife so far so good. Everyone is so nice here
Look yummy. The beignets looks scrumptious. Next weekend we're going to try this place for fried catfish.🐟

@@ZeeneInRealLife agreed I fell in love with the food in San Francisco after my first trip.
No her food looks dry. I wouldn’t eat there and I am a southerner.

Good ear! Yes, he’s Persian 😊 I’ve done one on Little Saigon in SJ but not in SF yet. On the list now that things are starting to open up.
Why would the tenderloin “turn people off” ?
Yum, when are we going!
Did you know I don’t eat chicken with my fingers ? But I love some of it .

I love how international SF's food scene is. Maybe I should do an episode on various non-traditional buffets??
It's Harvey on the West Bank of the Mississippi River not the Mexican gulf (or Gulf of Mexico as we call it in Louisiana)
Please come to Louisiana so we can show you real cajun food
Aha! Thanks for the correction! 👍😉
Would love to visit Louisiana again! I'll drop you a line next time and you can tell me all the real places there to go...
You’ll have to come to a little town south of Nola called Thibodaux
Me and my future husband can’t wait to try out all of your suggestions of San Francisco this October on our honeymoon
