How I Passed the ATI Proctored Fundamentals Exam!

Hi friends! The week before labor day I took the ATI Fundamental Proctored Exam and scored a 79.8%, placing me at a level two (merely 1 or 2 quest from a level 3 *sad face)!! A level 2 is what is needed in order to pass at WCU. In this video is everything that I did to study for this exam!

I totally agree with you. I just took my proctored ATI 5 hours ago, and oh boyy, those questions are total BS from what I studied. I think ATI set it up that way for us to study even more next term.

yeayy great job!! yes i'll definitely add it to the video to do list, but medsurge 1 is literally a continuation of funds but with oxygen use, tracheostomy, and IV!

Delegations!! Know when and when not to delegate, know who to delegate and what can be delegated. Know ANA, and prioritize your ABCs! Know the principles of ethics of nursing, know the rights that patients have! And when in doubt choose the safest option meaning choose the option that is safest for the patient!

Hi Andrea, If possible, will you be able to share the table of contents (title/subtitles) from the ATI fundamentals book? I cannot find it anywhere on the ATI website. I cannot purchased the book because my instructor have not receive the code from ATI. Once she get the school code from ATI, the students can purchased the books on the ATI website. I start nursing school in the fall semester and I was hoping to at least get an idea of what it may entails. Thank you so much for doing this video because this really is an eye-opener. :)

Hi! Would you say the Practice assessments A and B were similar to the actual proctor? I got a level 2 on practice exam A (for funds) and am afraid of them surprising us with a overly hard proctor compared to the practice proctors. Thank you!
in my experience the practice ones were way easier than the actual one, how did your proctor go if you’ve taken it already. What did you think 😭

Are the exams proctored like you have to turn on your camera while taking the test to see you or just a normal proctored where you just share screens?
The exams are in person, through computer online but with proctorio running which has camera and screen recording, your teacher is also there as well as a school proctor and they both walk around and check everyone’s screen periodically!
Hey, regarding west coast U for the seminar course they are making us retake the TEAS even if we took it as am entrance exam.
Did they make you do this? If so, was it online or in person?
Hi no when I first enrolled to the program in summer 2022 for that fall, I personally took ATI TEAS exam a few months before starting the application process for wcu (bc I was considering other schools) and they did not require that I take it again. I think the policy at that time was if it wasn’t over a year old, but confirm with your admissions advisor as policies change all the time!
And I took the TEAS in person at a site. Like when you register for it on the ATI website, you get to choose the location. I just picked the closest site to me. I do know some students took the TEAS online. However I’m not sure if that was honored bc of covid related exemptions, and I’m not sure if the TEAS is still doing online exam, and I’m also not sure if wcu is accepting online TEAS exams anymore. So again confirm with your assigned admissions advisor!
I just took the TEAS as an entrance exam a couple months ago, I start in August and they are making us take the TEAS againnn even if we took it as an entrance exam. They said it like part of the first year seminar course or something. I really dont know why we need to take it again. This is what they told us on the zoom Q and A. Makes no sense.

I have a class size of 60 people, more than half of my class got level 2, few people got level 3😢
It was a hard exam 😭

Hello. Congratulations on passing the exam💕. I just took my fundamentals proctored exam as well, passed with a level 2 🙌. And I totally agree with you, that exam is hard. I also had to guess on some of those questions.
