Great tips to install without removing the tires. Here are a few additional observations that might help in addition to your hints. 1. If you use 3M adhesive primer in the front fender area where the 3M tape attaches to, the tape will adhere extremely stronger. 2. You are correct regarding the rear that the longer spacer goes at the top instead of the bottom. 3. I found it easier on the rear to install the middle spacer/screw first loosely. You can then turn the flap out at the top to install the top spacer/screw loosely and then twist the bottom of the flap to install the bottom spacer/screw loosely. Tighten the screws as you suggest in order from top to bottom.
Thanks for the comment and the extra tips! I will say one additional thing about the adhesive - I initially set it in place "somewhat" misaligned and had to adjust it, and it was NOT easy to do! :)
I think this video was good and that this rock guards that you have installed will really help even when driving around at all times. The other day I took my 2022 2ss camaro out and there was a wet part of a road and all that dirt came on to my car. And I am a very picky person when it comes to my 2022 2ss camaro. I almost had a melt down.
Thanks for the comment! With the combination of the rock guards and the side skirts, the lower edge of my car has remained not only reasonably clean from driving but also chip free - even after the town where I used to live dumped tons of stone chips on a newly paved road next to my house, forcing me to drive through that garbage whenever I wanted to go anywhere!
Thanks for the reply and thoughts on this! I could see where that could definitely help, although my install went ok without doing it. Don't forget to like and subscribe!
Great communication and tips on how to do this w/o removing the wheels!! I have a 2022 ZL1 and was able to complete the job for all rock guards in about an hour. Great tip on how to install the center spacer on the rear rock guard and attention to detail, I'm the same way. KUDOS!!
Really glad to know that you found the info useful / helpful, and I appreciate the positive comments - Thank You. Look forward to doing more content that you may also find helpful!
Started installing my rock guards on my '13 SS the other day and had to stop when I realized that the rear wheels had to come off hah, front ones are one but driveway was too soft from raining a lot recently to jack it up and get wheels off to do them.
Thanks for the comment! I was fortunate to be able to install the rear ones without pulling the wheels, but it was definitely tight getting the tools in there.
@Hot Camaro what company did you arder it from. I have been ordering my stuff from American muscle. But I would like to know these are coming from. I hope it's not from China because China and I are not friends at all.
Thanks for the comment! My car has barely enough room to do this without pulling the wheels. The ZL1 wheels are just a little larger, so I would expect the only route would be removing them to install these rock guards. Come back and let us know how it goes and don't forget to like and subscribe!

Hot glue the spacers in place before mounting............makes it soooooo much simpler.
Warm your 3m tape with a blow dryer during cold conditions.

Where did you order your rock guard?
Thanks for the question! I ordered them direct from the company off of their website. Don't forget to like and subscribe!

Couldn’t get mine to fit on back of my 2022 ZL1. Will have to remove my back wheels.
