Wow what memories lay within this song for me ob june 26th 2008 at 11:30 PM just north of Kansas City Missouri by a little toen called Kearney on interstate 35 My life was changed forever And God Changed me ..a Struggling Alcoholic i I i was losing it all to gain everything as i stepped out in front of that suv at 80 mph my whole world went dark broken pelvis in 2 places broken skull in 2 places shattered right leg on 3 places tore all skin off my chest and 13 hours of surgery i was a rash of 7 or 8 pedestrians hit in 6 month stretch in kc Metropolitan area and ny Gods Grace I Survived 8 was the only one who survived. ..2 years later i had my last child named Grace ..now 11 years sober i promise u i wanted to be anywhere but there but by Gods Grace Im Here today to share this 🙏 I am now a pastor of a tiney baptist church called browning baptist church in Turney mo and 18 years also at General motors Fairfax plant...When man says u cant God Says Yes U Can. ...Anywhere But There IIs What God Used To Get Me Here ...A Year Long Recovery Seems So Minor Compared To Eternity in Heaven. ..Through our Momentary Afflictions God Can Lead Us To Eternal Blessings. ..Now I Can Share Gods LOVE To This World So In Essence I Was in The Right Place At The Right Time what seemed like all the pieces falling apart Gods Pieces Were Falling Into Place For His Good And His Purposes I Was There Now im here And Would rather not be anywhere but here May U All Be Blessed Amen
I used to listen to this song for the last 3 years of drinking. Turning 41 in August was special. But March 10 by the grace of a higher power it will be 12 years since I got sober. 11 years at the end of March I was asked to be a God Parent. Good things happen if the past was ugly.
