Nice clip. Had a few weeks training at Kalis Ilustrisimo Ateneo (under SIr Torqui Dojillo); currently correcting my basics and improving shoulder flexibility due to tight rotator-cuffs. Subscribed to all Kalis Ilustrisimo related channels. :))
No injuries begun with single stick/sword; never reached the sparring stage; just basic drills and slow feeds from the teacher. About eight sessions (2months once a week) then stopped due to conflict with my work schedule. Through research google/youtube I found out the BASICS were not that simple: Grip,Strikes, Footwork have their own technical/scientific rationale that makes Kalis more efficient compared to other FMA styles.
Grabe naman, that's never happened to me. Baka sobrang tense ka dapat relax lang. I didn't know they had this at ateneo. My x just graduated sa environmental science last May.

Concon Garcia did you obtain injuries from Kalis? Best to stretch properly before and after. How long did you do ilustrisimo for?
