I'm a dental assistant trainee. Instead of going to school for it. I got hired as a DA trainee. So I'm working as I am learning. I'm studying for my tests. My job will pay for all my testing and books I need. I didn't know there was a different route I could take and cheaper.
I work for pediatric in NJ. I have my X-ray license…been doing it since I was 16..20 years now and I make $26 an hour. Don’t ever think you can only get up to $22. You are just starting in your career. Keep learning…you got this

@@jennifervera9912 it really all depends on ur state and what you decide to do.RDA is longer & you have to do clinical exams to pass to apply for state license to practice professionally as for CDA only attends and passes a da program to receive a certificate.Like in FL you only need to be CDA. Does your pay depend on where you work maybe starting pay is higher at another dentist office? You'll get a raise I'm sure but you may start off if not with a license at $13-$14 and go up and also for efda some schools have where u can take an extra course for efda and then take the efda exam

HI the dental assistant program is a certificate program meaning it can be earned in months with training and completion of test, to become a peds dentist it would take 10-12 years 4 years of undergraduate 4 years of dental school and 2-4 years of your specialization

Depends on the dentist you work for...as long as they dont poke through my gloves or interfere with my work I get to wear them. I just keep them short and oval shaped

In some states, no you don’t need no experience or schooling and in some states the certification is required. Just look it up in your state.
