That’s genuinely how I feel when I listen to post. Just pure gratitude for his existence. He’s a good man, and I relate on so many levels. The the words and emotion behind them hit home and being able to relate to something so much and FEEL that it’s genuine just makes you feel like you’re not lone. He is proof that you can make it through those times and that good souls still exist. I’ve come very close to losing my faith that such people exist and can make it, and that you can make it and be consumed by greed. Instead, he is grateful, kind, and has himself grown. I hope he continues to inspire people. If more people like him occupy the stage, the world will be a better place.

After I lost my mom to cancer and got a divorce all in the same year I found his music (more like it found me) just days after I lost her and he helped me through it, I wish more than anything I could tell him this! He has to get thru it with a therapist..4 real. She made him feel less than...at an young age, especially for a guy..it messes with every fiber of existance..all his fame and us adoring fans...that pain is seperate..I pray that he works with a professional to get thru it to restore him..then all the booze and or drugs won't be needed anymore. It's many many yrs later and it still hurts but that dagger stabbing fades when you work it out.
