This 60th special edition Mustang gracefully pays homage to the original Mustang.
It’s special to my wife & I, because her very first car was a 1964.5 prairie bronze Mustang notchback. We were dating in college with this car. It had a 260 V8, 3 speed manual, and mag wheels. It’s was a fun car with great handling & mileage. It was sold to my former college roommate in 1975. I’d love to have this car. Thank you, Nathan. 5:50
I saw you down there filming yesterday. That 95 Mustang was a GTS model, which was basically a “De-Contented” GT, base interior, no fog lamps etc.
I guess I just don't understand what about this car pays tribute to the original?
Love that ‘67, the best looking one of them all.
true 67 fast back or convertible , 70-78 not my fav same with 94-04 convertible ,coupes better looking
Had a 86 5.0 LX 5-speed. Low options no air radio delete only 5-speed, power windows and a sunroof. Was a great car for 14 years and 160,000 hard miles.
Hey, anybody hear from the people over at the design team? We can't reach anybody.
Lol
$10 60 years stickers on the side for only $4,995 extra
just like dodge last call spec edst , hell cat jail Breke $995 for a dash emblem and floor mats or black seat belts
Anything limited cost more just pay for VIP treatment anywhere in America and see the treatment you get from people
Just stay broke
@@taurussho86people with real money recognize trying to be someone vs being someone. Paying extra for special badges and special colors is not the best financial decision. However, I’m a fan of the looks of this car, just don’t think there’s anything better in terms of performance from a regular GT.
@@andresc5915 my point, which i shoukdve explained some, is more about having a "limited edition".... Alot of these special trims dont amount to much, but theyre always produced in limited quantities. Im the type of guy who likes driving what you usually dont see around you.
The 2005 is the most Mustang looking modern version. That design was great.
So funny you say this because me and my buddy just saw an 05 sitting in his apartment parking lot and we both thought "wow that car has aged like shit"
@@tylerfitzgerald266 whatever. Maybe some run down POS one.
I had one and still love how they look. The nose dips down too far in this new one.
@@eiremerald I have one that I bought brand new with just over 100,000 miles on it now and she’s in phenomenal condition inside and out and underneath. Tastefully modded to look better than stock and to run stronger and sound better. It’s a nice Saturday cruiser in summertime only and has been garage kept all its life. The retro look and feel of the 05-09 is unmatched to me. I don’t care if newer ones are faster. I’m not a fan of the newer body styles. Some people think the 13-14 looks the best. I don’t see it at all. For 2010-2014 they lost the true retro look they had. I don’t like what they did to the back of the car for the 10-14 models at all. If they had kept the 05-09 rear it would have looked way better.
Nice to have you in town, Nathan
Love this place!
Oh yeah, thems 20" wagon wheels sure does reminds me of the '65 in no way at all....
My dad saw it yesterday on Fox Business he had a 1964 with 289 manual transmission babies blue. He told me my mom he wanted that car with manual.
I’m sorry a sticker pack and a grill and some wheels not worth it
The thing looks absolutely awesome.
cool ..new 79 cobra 1st mustang I ever drove , fox body still my fav as have rode in, driven more than any generation do like the 07 GT500 , the 05 bullit edt 2 id go look for
Gotta love people walking in front of you while you're literally speaking into the camera. That's why I hate going to these shows, people just crowd you.
😂 like anyone cares a basic UA-camr is filming..... That shows how much clout they don't have
Nice is nice that the 8 still come manual
The original Mustang had the V8 badge with the engine displacement above and in front of the front wheels.
🔥Thanks Nathan🔥 Happy Thursday Everyone🔥LOVE THE HDR VIDEO...
Good job Ford. Nice looking car.
Nice to meet you there;)
Would have been cool if they all were convertible and same body colour, not sure if that would have worked through all the years.
Go Nathan!!!
They should've put a C- scoop on it
I do not think the Mach style nose is doing it any favours
Good update keep it up the
I don't see the point in limited edition vehicles. How are you supposed to get parts later on?
is the hood scoop functional?
Come on Nathan it's obvious why the mock e is not in the lineup anyone there to see mustangs would be immediately pissed off
Bet my 64 1/2 Mustang, six cylinder, three speed, only cost about 1/20 th of that convertible there.
Was the car hiding behind the 700 pound lady gorilla in the opening shot?
I think she was eyeing it up like it was a full size marshmallow snack...
The front and if this 7th generation model looks way off. It’s just a big flat facade with no angled profile in the grill area to differentiate it from the bumper cover. Weird.
Should have made them stick shift only.
jay leno will get one.
So it's a very limited edition minor appearance package. Way to F this up Ford.
Why only 7 gens? There are way more than that the 69-70? 71-73 99-04?
It’s not a car. It’s a ford.
Yeah so most of us are gonna need you to further elaborate on your comment that makes no sense... lol.
How does this pay tribute to the 64 1/2? They should've made a notchback. That was the original not the fastback.
Nice 😀
Vermilion city in Kanto region😂
Missing the early 1970’s
😎
looks like a large miata with a ford front end.
1st Gen. and 5th Gen. Best. This 60th, not at all appealing. Maybe if they had it in candy apple red it would have been more interesting. Wheels are boring tho, so, not sure the color would have made the car work any better.
60 years to look like an old Camaro.
It don't look nothing like a 65 mustang
I would love it's this one beautifully Car FORD MUSTANG GT 60 years look good perfect Car for just give to me My dream ohhhh yes come on give to me ohhhh yeahhhh perfect Car
People still buy mustang?? Maybe in the south but i never see them.. maybe old retired guys! Lol
Those rims are hideous. All they did was put pieces of plastic over the existing grills and call them are inlets, Brilliant!
Just like the California Specials\CS, this is nothing but tacky fake stick on covers, scoops and badges. Don't forget the super special plaque too.
60th anniversary ford Camaro, lol
Does anything make it not a Ford?
Is that whembly white?
That's the ugliest of all the S650 and S550 Mustangs I've ever seen. Today when all else fails, stickers prevail ? Freakin Fugly.
Terrible interior.
Too bad the Mustang II was the coupe with the landau top. If it was a Cobra it would have actually looked pretty good.
Love, love, love the 1967 2+2 (ford never called it a fast back). My 67 I had was originally a GT but all I bought was an empty shell. No interior or gauges even. Unibody with all subframes intact and perfect, fenders with the hood and a grille I didn’t use. The guy that owned it ran out of money and couldn’t pay. He broke in and stole all he could I guess. The motor, driveline, interior pieces etc. it was a 390 4 speed car. I did it up as a dressed up 302 with a 4 speed automatic. All very stock looking, did the intake and valve covers as if it was just from the factory. As a lark, I put the 390 stickers on the air cleaner. So many guys saw it instantly and others were heard arguing with guys that it was the original motor even. I would go correct them. If anyone asked me what I had I said it was a restomod that was a GT car and it’s is fully represented as a GT car with a more modern 302 and 4 speed automatic. They stopped listening at GT. Haha. Loved the car, but wanted to go back to a 100% truck collection. I had $45K into it but sold it for just over $80K. The powertrain came from a 69 Bronco I had built then was broadsided in an intersection. While still in the hospital the insurance company for the other driver was very good about the buyout as my lawyer was already working the injury case. They asked if there was anything I wanted from the vehicle. I said anything not damaged. They agreed on taking $1200 out of the price!! I got the motor, transmission, rear differential, all the gauges stereo and 6 of the 7 speakers. I bled into the sub pretty bad. The drivers seat and passenger seat were destroyed from me bleeding on them and the frame of the driver seat was bent and destroyed. I was hurt bad!! We got the centre console as it was steel and any blood washed off. Then after about 3.5 months I got out of the hospital and started rehabilitation. I healed up about 85%. I have some severe back issues!!
Anyway,, that’s why it was so inexpensive for me to build. It had 330hp, 375 lb ft of torque and was decent, but not a rocket as they could be. I truly miss the car!! It was a recovery tool and has some great memories. My buddy owns it so I get to take it out still, with or without him. He is a great friend!
Body lines & fitment are not Fords strong suit.
Yeah the emblem on my '65 in the garage looks nothing like the 60th and the location is all wrong. Ford you're loosing your way. This no better than the Mach-E
If orders opened up for that 1967 fastback I would consider buying one
Nice car but Im not sold ... yup it has all the modern bells & whistles.... I'll take a '66 - 70 any day over this...Just my opinion.
Nice, but too much tech for my liking. And the horrible computer screen ruins it.
Sounds like a personal problem
@@slapshotjack9806 It sure is. Very personal.
1965 is the first model year, period.
How stupid is Ford naming to EVS after this iconic, automobile. Why are they trying to confuse people, an EV is not a Muscle car
