that's a great point! i've definitely invested in many remixes of the same track. i suppose, like you say, it's mostly that there is no acknowledgement of the reusing of the same synth line. thanks for your input, helped me see this from a different perspective. good day!
Awesome, but he uses essentially the same arpeggio in this track, Bugs in the Virus, and La Montagne De Reves. not sure what that says; i mean, they're all super solid tracks, and i own Stratagalistico on vinyl (Stormfighter is actually my favorite on that release), but i'm not sure i'm down with just repackaging parts of songs. anyone else have thoughts on this, and want to discuss?
Well you know repackaging is part of dance music since ever, but if you d'on't want the "consumer' to not feel riped off, you should not rename the track or brand it as new you know, how many times have you bought a release with 3mixes of the same track by the same guy.But yeah i feel like it's a mistake to "repackage" a synth line or drum line and use it in a "different" track , i call this lazyness while just by puting a "chord mix" or "vocal mix" whatever , i just feel like it's another take
awesome stuff!
