@@hariranormal5584 fr, my dad has a palisade calligraphy 2024, that car is around 70k and it still has way better build quality and comfort than the Mercedes s650 or the gls, he tried the gls and it was stiff and extremely poorly built, you also get the good reliability with them palisades
Okay, I need to set the record straight for those who dont know or have this issue. Especially for ANYONE doubting the quality of a Maybach. First, to start, I have experienced many Bentleys and Rolls Royces. MANY. As far as a Maybach goes, as a MASS PRODUCTION vehicle, it IS NOT far at all behind Bentley and RR in terms of interior quality. To be extremely clear other than the handbuilt segment ( RR, Bentley ) Maybach is the most exquisite mass-produced car on earth. S Class isn't in the same realm as this either, I know ppl love to try to compare the two, you can't. Maybach takes double the time where the S Class takes about 100hrs to complete. And yes Maybach does feature many things done by hand, like the seat stitching, and some do get a coach line hand painted as well. There is leather everywhere, yes.. everywhere you touch, leather. Down by your feet, the door pillars, the ceilings, the door pockets, everything. As far as the CREAKING it has nothing to do with the lack of quality, the simple answer that over time the road loosens the hinges and bolts, the lube around the joints rub out too. This causes the squeaking and vibration folks. The repair is simply pulling off the panels and re tighting and lubing the parts. I know ppl who have had this service. Creaks were gone. These cars DO NOT get delivered this way. It happens AFTER some time of riding on the road from bumps and such. Once again EVERY car squeaks. Bentley and RR squeak.
I own a 18 Bentayga and my close second was a S600 Maybach, I can agree that it's not much different then my Bentayga in terms of qaulity. I ended up choosing the Bentayga because I wanted a SUV.
Why is mercedes so creaky? They are worse than the other brands....is it because of the piano black plastic or just thin plastics not secured properly?
The later. My Toyota has black plastic piano but hardly creaks except in one place cause the screws are a bit loose (confirmed it after comparing with a friends)

TBH, BMW and Audi are not much better. Germans luxury automakers are cooked.

Agreed. The new Merc's look horrible with just display's everywhere, there's almost nothing to distinguish, not much elements to even interact with because "well do it via the display". Basically a Tesla at that point. The W222's look really pretty at the very least

From being the best to being the worst. What kind of idiots have been running that company for the past decades... Feel the inside of the door + handles on a w123... Its like some sturdy old furniture at home.. It has been the same with car stereos for a long time. Those standard size stand alone units in older cars. Units from the 70's all had this metal/sturdy feel to them. Even the most simple ones you could buy. Long ago now I came across one, but I cant think otherwise than they actually were metal.. The knobs and whole front side had that feel. Newer ones I've had from 2000's and onward look fancy on pictures. But once you saw them in real life they all felt extremely cheap. 100's of functions but creeked horribly as soon as touched. Same cheap plastic. Reminding of this.
Unfortunately it is exactly the opposite, they managed to increase the price and lower the quality and costs, increasing the margins while still keeping good market share. The problem is not on them (this is exactly how to make good business), the problem is people that keep buying overpriced junk...
Ita normal. Every car makes this noises. Who pushed parts while driving like this? Important thing is that the car does not make this kind of sound while driving
They made it feel normal around the buttons where the user would often interact with. The other just parts are still so bad wtf, unbelievable, this aint asmr, this is cringe, and I didn't even pay for it :(
Audi and especially BMW are nowadays miles ahead. And eben other brands, Genesis and so on. Mercedes is on a great downfall. Also I hink their current CEO is a big mistake in many ways.

Sit in the a8 d3 or d4 with individual equipment with leather stitching and you were see who is daddy.But i like s class and 7 series they are great cars.Build quality interior is not only things that measure car quality.
