As an African American, this rubs me wrongly. Some asians like us, but a lot don’t. Seeing what we’ve been discriminated against for and called ugly for is being “trendy” for others to just throw on and take off whenever they want is disgraceful.

While it might have been different in the past, nowadays, a significant majority of people genuinely appreciate and enjoy Black culture and style, often wanting to embrace and emulate them. It's something to be proud of, and similar instances exist in the history of Asians as well. The recent popularity of K-pop is something we Asian folks are genuinely happy about and take pride in. We sincerely hope that Black individuals also take pride in their heritage.

I’m amazed and quite curious…How long did this entire process take to get the hair to conform to the coils? How long did this fro style last? Did his hair maintain that texture after washing it? ❤
thank you dear friend! entire process time is depends on hair conditions and what kind of hairstyle you want. usually it is around 2 to 4 hours !! also if you have afro perm you will keep them curls until cut your hair but your original hair will be grown up so you need reperm around 6 months later. that's easy.

One day I went to the beauty supply store and I wanted to buy a wig that was closer to my hair texture and the owner (an Asian man) told me they didn't have much of a selection for that type of hair texture because no one wants to buy kinky coily hair.
I knew their was many people world wide that loved my kinky coily texture just as much as I do. That wasn't up for debate, I allow people to have their opinions and I purchased other items I needed then went about my business.
This brings a smile to my face, 😊 and made be think of that Asian beauty supply store owner.

Someone please teach me on the reason for the bitterness I see in the comments. Speaking as a Korean person I know a few Koreans that have hair that is naturally extremely curly/coily so when they comb it, it looks very similar to this (but less firm shape). Yes it's rare but it's there. I like it better than the usual where people end up burning their scalp trying to straighten them out, for example.
