Storm has always been gorgeous, but stormy! I still remember when you guys first got him and he was a little bitty fella growling at Wolf! At first it seemed like maybe Wolf was growling since it was his first time having another dog around, but no it was Storm haha. I love Storm's fiesty personality.. he's a pisser. Monty on the other hand is a sweet angel.

My old coworker had to bring her Husky to doggie daycare because he would destroy her house when she was at work. He could escape crates so that didn't work at all and he really needed to run around to get out all his energy. Since you are an experience Husky dad, you got their traits down pat. Goldens are usually really good and have a nice temperament and are great family dogs. Of course with any breed some can go a bit astray from the typical temperament, but everyone I knew who had them were really wonderful. Especially with their kids if they had them. I knew you would love her and I'm so glad you changed your mind and kept her.
Monty has been the sweetest girl since the beginning ❤️ I am so glad you kept her.
You can try puppy CBD for the anxiety I do suggest half the does they say to use so your dog doesn't just sleep all the time.

Storm crying broke my heart!!! Our first family dog did that once while we were gone and our downstairs neighbor said he sounded like he was in agony. We never left him alone again.

I adopted a rescue puppy that was clearly abused and neglected. I got him when he was 2 months old and now he’s 2 years old. Out of all the dogs I have (4) he took the most work, patience, and training. He had extreme separation anxiety and I mean extreme. He would deficate, throw up, tear things, and cry as if he was being murdered. I couldn’t even leave to get the mail across the street without him going into a full blown anxiety attack.
We adopted a 2nd puppy and ever since then his anxiety levels decreased tremendously. He always has someone with him all the time now 💕 With Monty’s sweetness , she will definitely be Storm’s comfort when you’re gone.
I’d love to see more of this!

Dogs are so funny. You knew exactly what they would do too. haha My sweet one is 14 yrs old now and she has gone deaf and half-blind. She is on anti-anxiety meds now cuz she is having some neurological problems. It's worth a convo with the vet for sure. :)

This is the difference between a husky and retriever. CBD oil would be excellent for Storm. It helps anxiety.

Huskies are very stubborn and needy. Monty shows all the signs of being the perfect retriever. I think she would make an excellent therapy dog with her angel personality.

You can try leaving them together more often. Separation anxiety in pets is mostly cured by adopting another pet, so that they would not feel alone.

Aweee monty is the sweetest pup ever! My 1 year old husky mix is a good dog except when i leave her behind. Whenever she's home alone she destroys stuff, and its usually only MY stuff because i am her person and she punishes me for leaving her home 😅

I just love how Storm has two different colored eyes because when you did that close up of him and said the devil, his blue eye made him look evil but his brown eye made him look so innocent 🥺 also when both Storm and Monty stayed home by themselves together I said “Aww she’s so precious” and then Monty instantly got on the bed 😂

Poor Storm such a daddy's boy. It made me so sad to hear him cry out. Don't medicate him in time he will learn to deal with it like you said it has only been a year and it is different for him. Also, I am sure he is dealing with the break-up. I have seen videos with him loving on Joey so I know he is missing him---and you two being together. Good idea to give him a dog to play with like Monty.

I have a 2 year old Australian shepherd who reminds me a lot of Storm. I’m comfortable leaving him alone for 3-4 max outside of his crate but if I go longer than that he acts out and wants to chew and mess stuff up. He’s just so energetic and smart that he can’t be cooped up for very long. And like Storm, he goes everywhere with me and will hang out in the car if I can’t take him in some place. It’s a lot of work having a high strung dog but the loyalty is worth it and I wouldn’t trade him for the world, my Velcro boy 🤍🐶

Joey is more old school UA-cam superficial and perfect on camera ( not bashing him ) that’s just how his content has always been. While Daniel is down to earth low key cool on camera . Both are great in their own elements.

We had to give my white shepherd anxiety meds she's like a total different dog now. Has stopped destroying things, just sleeps while we're gone, doesn't howl and bark. It's amazing the difference.
