What a great video. I will be hunting for some blues in a few weeks. I treasure hunt shells in Florida during the winter months but it doesn’t compare to blues and Petoskeys in Michigan.

Glad you enjoyed the video! I will be back in Leland very soon for some more hunting! I will also be in Florida in January for my "shell fix"! I LOVE living in Michigan, but I miss the shelling very much! 😊

Thanks for the video. I have never seen so much Leland blue! I have been near Leland to look but have never found any! I like the idea of your scooper for rockhounding. I have a problem with my balance and it is hard to stand in the water with the shifting rocks and sand. Did you make it or buy it somewhere? I loved seeing MI again. I hope to make it up there somewhere this year.

Thank you for your comment! I bought my scooper many years ago in Florida. They aren't made anymore. I have been looking into getting them made to sell them because I love it so much! When the waves are calm, you will see a lot of rocks near the waters edge so you should be ok. Hopefully you can go back and find some blues!

Frame 5:47 From this position the rock looks to have a face. Almost like a cat or owl.

Oh my gosh - I am surprised I didn't catch that! I see faces in everything! When I was editing this footage, I recall seeing a face in one of the stones, but now I can't remember where! Thanks for watching 😊
