Because a win is still a win. Harvick didn't manage his fuel well enough, and Logano did. I don't believe in "flukes" or "lucky" wins. Whoever takes the checkered flag in first, earned it, IMO.
I'm not a Logano fan by any means... but just to be up there, running for the lead - that is talent. Logano is a talented driver, you can't discount him on that.
Frederick S. Cairo II Ok, Yes. I am a Logano fan, This win was lucky, The daytona 500 win, not really..... ever since he joined penske, he won 1 in 2013, 5 in 2014, and 2 so far in 2015, Joe Gibbs wasn't a good spot for Logano. Penske calmed him down, now He is very good,
Mike Russell That's my issue with the bulk of American sports (and I'm a Seattleite): People want ACTION, want SCORING, want PASSING, if you know what I mean. The rest of the world seems to be entertained by different things, e.g. tactical maneuvers and tire changes. Sport for me is like a chess match. For the majority of the American general public, sport is like a UFC bout. Just my opinion.
+Bobby Aiyer I hear you. Not to say there isn't any intrinsic cultural difference that makes Americans more prone to seek out "in your face" action so to speak, but I think it also has a lot to do with how hypercompetitive everyone & everything is for attention in America. It's like there's so many things competing for viewership in America that if something is not constantly providing "highlights," it's going to go ignored. So on one hand maybe Americans are less patient about appreciating sports that resemble a deadlocked chess match, but on the other hand... it could mostly be a result of the world Americans live in, a world so saturated with instant entertainment options that patience is rarely required and thus, rarely developed. I'm a NASCAR fan, but I also prefer a chess match & anything that artificially enhances the "excitement" of a race (like Formula e's fan-boost for example) really depreciates the value of the event in my eyes. I like action, but I also need it to be "organic;" the authenticity of the action is more important than and a prerequisite to the action itself.
I do agree with both of you though. Definatly true about Americans wanting a competition with just about everything. I will admit though, I enjoyed the last few laps of the race at Pocono. It wasn't simply about who had the fastest car, but who had the right strategy, something thag NASCAR seems to be losing more of year by year. Alwo, don't take offence to my first comment, I had to poke a bit of fun, there. Haha.
I've lost all respect for Logano when he decided to wreck Denny in 2013. Both wins he has this season are based on luck, and the fact that NASCAR already tries to throw him out there as a "championship contender" is laughable
Patrick Star You must be like 6 considering your name and he didn't turn Kenseth Cause Kenseth was faster Joey was so much faster and Kenseth came down to block and spun himself out. Kenseth ran Logano into the wall twice trying to wreck logano. Learn the facts before you speak kid...
Lmao Jimmie "Quote me that's a good one"
"Harvick slows in turn 7! Logano goes blasting by!" Gives me goosebumps...

Because a win is still a win. Harvick didn't manage his fuel well enough, and Logano did. I don't believe in "flukes" or "lucky" wins. Whoever takes the checkered flag in first, earned it, IMO.
CoolDL Yes.
Both of his wins have come VIA luck, so is he good? Not really!
I'm not a Logano fan by any means... but just to be up there, running for the lead - that is talent. Logano is a talented driver, you can't discount him on that.
Well in 2015 both wins have been lucky, and 10 cup wins, that's all?
***** I think that belongs to Kyle Busch
Frederick S. Cairo II Ok, Yes. I am a Logano fan, This win was lucky, The daytona 500 win, not really..... ever since he joined penske, he won 1 in 2013, 5 in 2014, and 2 so far in 2015, Joe Gibbs wasn't a good spot for Logano. Penske calmed him down, now He is very good,
Frederick S. Cairo II bristol wasn't lucky lol
Whats so attractive about driving around in circles? #f1
We might drive in circles, but our cars can actually pass.

***** Ovals. Same thing with a straight.
I've lost all respect for Logano when he decided to wreck Denny in 2013. Both wins he has this season are based on luck, and the fact that NASCAR already tries to throw him out there as a "championship contender" is laughable
***** He turned right into him once he knew that Denny was gonna get the run off the corner.
+Patrick Star Where is your attic?
+Patrick Star he didn't wreck Denny, it was hard racing. If anything, Denny wreck himself.
ReconX Nah, he turned right bc he was gonna get out raced. Did the same thing to Kenseth at Kansas and manipulated the chase standings
Patrick Star You must be like 6 considering your name and he didn't turn Kenseth Cause Kenseth was faster Joey was so much faster and Kenseth came down to block and spun himself out. Kenseth ran Logano into the wall twice trying to wreck logano. Learn the facts before you speak kid...
glad Logan ran out of gas and Harvick won
*logano
Wrong. Both their cars exploded!
