Friebooger better say your name with reverence whenever he mentions your resurrection of The General. Man, you are making it back into a real car! Kudos, dude. 👍👍👍👍
Its really enjoyable watching you bring these beautiful chargers back to life by rebuilding them piece by piece. Your sheet metal fabrication skills are amazing, especially considering you are using mostly simple hand tools. Can't wait for Part 4!
Amazing work! Really glad to see the sad butchery on Mayhem being fixed. Once it had the RV engine dropped into it it should have been left alone - it had just the right character at that point.
You are definitely one in a million. I've seen many other chargers being restored but none of them being done with the skill level in which you possess.
Hey Chris thank you for the video I enjoyed it and I did not know because I am not a welder but it seems like you need to do a lot of prep work before you can weld when I thought that you just need to take the wire wheel brush and clean and then weld well thank you for teaching me this Chris and one day I will weld to
you see it wobbling like the Deathmetal charger behind them in the motor trend video doing the last burnout with the hellcat then they started working on it then the cameras stopped so they sent it off to Birdsong to work on instead
Ya… especially when his finger is over the mic…🤣🤣🤣…. Sorry Chris… you are the Mopar surgeon. That’s why everybody wants you to fix their prized possessions
Ha Ha didn't watch it yesterday, any way just shows how good that car was before it was chopped, great stuff living the dream. 😎Vice grip garage was round some old junkyards the other day i spotted a few chargers..
David owns the car outright, he bought it back from MT. My favorite Roadkill car lives again!! David and Steve Dulcich are taking it back to 440 motor home(rebuilt) power for Dirtfish once again. See Roadkill Garage.
Birdsong is doing all the very hard work unfucking the body while David and Steve go film more engine masters on the motorhome 440 , while getting the transmission built by someone else , and picking a rear end swap for the cameras to make it look like they did more work on the hole project
P. S. Great work too .. loved the out come so far !! Get er dun!!! Lol… your dogs a ham for the camera too on another video you did .. lol had to let you know great dog too
Is it time to move to a better house with a huge workshop? Wish I can see the General completed but won’t happen due to motortrend being no longer available outside Nth America :(
Amazing work sir. Found your channel when Freiburger mentioned your name in the Mayhem episode. Baffling how the shop that installed that motor butchered a decent shell like that. But I had a question in episode 1: When you cut the donor pieces out of the Roadrunner, why'd you cut off all the flanges instead of drilling the spotwelds and taking the pieces out whole? Didn't that just create lots more welding work for you and end up with weaker parts when there's a weld running through them? I'm sure there's a good reason for doing it the way you did it, just wondering!
Love mopars..thanks for bringing them back!
As per usual….excellent work Mr Birdsong🤘
Car geometry...Professor...Your skill level exceeds most people....You take it for granted. You earned it.
Friebooger better say your name with reverence whenever he mentions your resurrection of The General. Man, you are making it back into a real car! Kudos, dude. 👍👍👍👍
People of your skill in metal fabrication are Rare these days.. I love watching you work.
Love this guy!! Use the tools and space you have. Fear no hurdle, head down and plowing through. The epitome of work ethic.

Hardcore. I get the feeling that your passion for these cars will be amply rewarded.
He is working on general mayhem!
Amazing work! Really glad to see the sad butchery on Mayhem being fixed. Once it had the RV engine dropped into it it should have been left alone - it had just the right character at that point.
i was so let down when they announced they were modernizing it
Awesome work Chris…you’re like a spider in a welding helmet crawling in and out and under that Charger! Mad skills!!
Love hearing Roadkill in the background!
You're doing the lord's work, Chris.

Nice work Chris. You make it look so easy. Much respect for your skills.

MAYHEM LIVES AGAIN!! Awesome job Chris. Sooo glad David bought it back to take it back to version 1.0 like it was in Roadkill ep 23.
Really nice work!! Glad to see that those cars that are too far gone will donate some parts so that other cars can live.
You're work is impeccable also attention to the detail
So right chris. If it's level at both ends. It's not twisted. Don't over think it. Hats off to uscartool. For making the stiffeners.
The Master, better than 99% of the fabricators on you tube
Another engineering masterpiece. I bet Graveyard Cars would employ you in an instant. Keep up the great work and vids. Love what you do.

Great job on the metal work, I can't imagine how it drove before! It will be like a whole new car now.
you see it wobbling like the Deathmetal charger behind them in the motor trend video doing the last burnout with the hellcat then they started working on it then the cameras stopped so they sent it off to Birdsong to work on instead

Great work as always ! Heard Roadkill show in the background. Is that incase General Mayhem gets homesick ?
GREAT JOB BUDDY, YOURE A MASTER.... thanks for bringing mayhem back :) love to see it ♥
It was good to see and chat with you at the Fall Fling. Thanks for the video. Great work. You must have found the Go-Pro, huh?

You sir...are a fucking wizard. Amazing.
Thanks for taking us through this build! 💥
Part 3 was great, we are now going down the home stretch.
Well Done..... Good meeting you @ Duct Tape...
How are you going to feel when Motor Trend hacks the car up again just for fun?
Incredible passion.
I believe freiburger bought it back from the company so hopefully it wont be ruined.
@@BarelyRunning Yep, David bought it back. I'm pretty sure Chris is doing this work for him and not Motor Trend.
David owns the car outright, he bought it back from MT. My favorite Roadkill car lives again!! David and Steve Dulcich are taking it back to 440 motor home(rebuilt) power for Dirtfish once again. See Roadkill Garage.

And then I have to do! 🤣🤣👍 Great job

Did you get paid for your work
hey Chris what is the model of welder you use and how do you like it ?
You need a factory black on black '70 & '71 to complete the TX9 R/T Charger collection you got going...
Incredible fabrication skills, a joy to watch it come together.
One question - How do you calculate the thickness of the new metal req'd?
Just joined your channel, glad to be a member. Is the mods you did going to allow a wider tire, and wheel?
Hey Chris Birdsong… how many more episodes you gotta go to finish product .. and delivery or shipping !!
Nice stance. Sweet. Kudo's Chris.
Now people we understand how Aaron Kuafman pissed over that piece of Sh..t in his Dodge Dart God Bless Aaron
Did you make the reinforcement plates, or are they from a kit? Awesome work and super informative!
Never noticed the reinforce braces in the inner wells before. Did They all have them? Did that sunroof car ever get finished?
You are a genius / not kidding/ I used to do that work and it’s very hard/ I only did quater panels/doors skins
Talent to the enth degree! Chris, how many quality restoration shops have tried to hire you for your metal smithing talent and Mopar knowledge?
Resto shops couldn't afford Chris's level of skills. Phenomenal!
What would you do without locking pliers. Best sheet metal tool ever !.
Let’s gooooooooooo! B.F.M.V.
I have alot of respect from your work! Pssst please tell me your secret welder settings.
Best video yet!
Hey Chris I just wanted to wish you and your whole family a Happy Thanksgiving so stay safe and God bless
Glad to see the video. I was watching it yesterday and it just disappeared. ??????
Mad skills chris. The Chaaaaarger wisperer Would be really cool to see you and worman on a ground up build
Pretty sure that won't happen anytime soon.
You are very talented with sheet metal. How do you know how to make those parts? Did you trace around an old part?
About damn time. Thanks, Chris. Was that Sammy in there?
Really happy seeing Mayhem getting un-butchered, especially now I can't watch Motortrend
I go into withdrawals between your videos...
How come you don't clean the inside of those grubby quarterpanels? Are they gonna be replaced?
At what point do you stop...it’s not a full resto
