Strange that it didn't come with instructions. Looks very sturdy, but fairly easy to move. Great that it can hold camera and mics. It looks like the z-axis does make a different. Great to see the comparison. Wow that is expensive, but it does look nice.
I Like that you give out honest opinions on all your reviews. You really know how to present the relative information for those who care. Really cool device and I agree it does make a big difference in quality!
can the handle be taken off completely? I am thinking about taking off 1 of the handles and replacing it with a DJI handle that comes with the DJI expansion kit so I could change focus with the DJI handle while using the z axis. thanks~
it a nice product, but that weight issue and the price. I don't notice too much of the difference with it attached maybe little. if you got the cash, it is a nice buy.
How to you make camera adjustments or gimble adjustments? Do you need to put it down? What if there was a next strap, possible to adjust setting without putting it down?
As always a thorough description of the pros and cons. I still don't have or really need a gimbal for my camera, have one for my phone when I am out and about, but it is still very interesting to learn more about these gadgets
“It required no instructions to put together. Which is good because it came with no instructions.” I was on the floor. Superior review as always. Oh, that stinger. Lol!
That's what she said hahahaha, nice one! I like how you can mount the mics or monitors... great thinking! This device performs very nicely... smooth as butter! I have to say that I'm impressed with these reviews as they look on the professional level. Just watch out for those annoying cars hahaha!! Great job, Wesley 👊💥
I wish that you had done the test with no lens or in body stabilization. The footage looks quite weird up to horizon, like seeing it through an aquarium.
I didn't know this even existed! I thought that was only big time movie studios that had bit track moving cameras etc.. and to be able to stabilize your camera for only $195 isn't bad at all, shit I might get one to do more stuff on the move with my son (short movies) very cool man thanks for sharing,.
Nice review! Hmm I’m glad you mentioned how you could possibly shrug up your shoulders causing upper back tension which I don’t need. Do you know a competing product that wouldn’t be as likely to cause this?
that's a crazy piece of gear.... maybe i'll popular enough to need one hahah also, have you thought about facing the other way? where the window is not back lighting you? i know that gives us problem
Dude, you're building up that Ronin like frickin' Vultron!!🔥💥💥 Love the Subliminal "Fight Club" text flashes! Wow big difference with the Z. I gotta get me a Ronin fo sho! Outakes rule!
I thing you'll have to adjust the handles so that they are harizontally in a straight line... looks wrong in your b-roll. The strange short rod form the beginning is to attach extra gear like follow focus or remote with a rod clamp. In my world the price is anything but high. It's so terribly low that I get suspicious about the quality... but than agian I'm from a different age of real cinema cameras... what do I know...
oh yeah dat soundz fancey bro can u like order pizza wit it nd stuff? yeh wut is it???????? oh dat sunds like dat thing rlly haz a handel on it u know wut im sayin bro! yo i thught a gimble wuz one of doze toyz in my grannyz room guess not tho! oh no dont die gimbal LIVE 4EVER GIMBL oh its back did u take it 2 da Pet Cemetary?????? yo k gonn practize dat Ninja werk nd stuff! u know ur broze enus nd wenis r flushin da cash or waite r we flushed wit cash??????
Why the fuck was the footage worse with it on the 85mm? That makes no sense whatsoever. Doesnt matter that it's a long focal length- if it keeps it more stable on the others it will do the same for a tele.
HI The tube is for installing gimbal controller Nice review of the Z Axis
Thanks! That is helpful. Sad I don't have one.
I love your clear description of your pros and cons. I’ve never used one before.
Thanks man!
I love your reviews you’re always so thorough!
Thank you!
Ohhh yes back with a GEAAARRRRR review
Back, back, back again!
Strange that it didn't come with instructions. Looks very sturdy, but fairly easy to move. Great that it can hold camera and mics. It looks like the z-axis does make a different. Great to see the comparison. Wow that is expensive, but it does look nice.
It's definitely on the pricey side, but it's definitely a high quality, well made product.
I enjoy your style of unboxing and demonstration. Your comparison footages are useful to this review
Thanks man! Appreciate the kind words!
Well you definitely learn something new every day. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks man! :D

Yes, you can unscrew one or both of the handles and replace them.
The Z axis looks really awesome man! Fantastic review!
Thanks a lot for watching!
That looks great And handy!! Great stuff my dude!
Thanks man!
Woah! thats some sick gear! nice video!
Thank you!
Nicely done! Keep up the good work. I am considering picking this tool up.
Moooreeeeeeee mannnn I'm loving the uploads!!!!! Damnn this content is just soooo gooddd!
haha thanks man!
Love your reviews very much
Thank you!
it a nice product, but that weight issue and the price. I don't notice too much of the difference with it attached maybe little. if you got the cash, it is a nice buy.
It's definitely pretty cumbersome and pricey, so I completely understand.
The engineering in this one looks insane haha! 🤓☝️ Great breakdown as always Wes 👊
Thanks man!

Completely understand! These aren't for everyone! Thanks for checking the review out!
its a well done review, the footage looked amazing.
This is a cool video and awesome channel, learning stuff that will prove to be useful once we obtain a proper camera thank you.
Thanks a lot for the kind words! Just gradually upgrade your gear when you can. No rush on it :)
Nice review. Thanks for the good info!
Thanks for checking it out.
“It required no instructions to put together. Which is good because it came with no instructions.” I was on the floor. Superior review as always.
Oh, that stinger. Lol!
😂😂😂 Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Good review. That thing looks gnarly.
Thanks man! Definitely a fun toy.
I typically use a tripod but something like this would be good for vlogging. If you don’t know what that piece is for I’m totally screwed. Lol
It's pretty heavy for vlogging :(
I'm in the market for a gimbal and other accessories. glad i saw this
Def check out our Ronin vids. Got some good stuff there.
That's what she said...lol
Great review as always 🙌
😂😂😂 thanks a lot! Appreciate you taking the time to check it out!
Not much into photography but after seeing this I might give it a go
I love your B roll footage 😍 this looks like an amazing piece of equipment! Never heard of this product before now, looks really cool though.
Thank you :)
Hey Wes me and my dad are going to be getting the hover 2 drone, have you used the first version before and what were your thoughts on it?
I have not personally used it, but it sounds like a fun toy!
I primarily shoot with my phone and the zhiyun gimbal works well for me. This looks awesome
I think that extra part is for the remote of the gimbal.
You're right! I unfortunately don't have the remote, so I had no idea what was supposed to go there :(
I could definitely see the difference. I need one of these in my life. I guess I need to learn a ninja gimbal walk.
😂 ninja gimbal walk is certainly helpful!
Thanks a lot man! Trying to continue making these better with each one! Glad I seem to be improving haha
I wish that you had done the test with no lens or in body stabilization. The footage looks quite weird up to horizon, like seeing it through an aquarium.
I don't remember using a lens with stabilization on this test.
for some reason the stabilized video is cropped 🤔
I bet its nice to be able to get outside for filming instead of having to always be inside. You hold it fairly steady without the extra piece
Thanks! I want to get outside to film more, because it's more convenient not having to worry about setting up lights, etc...
I didn't know this even existed! This is pretty cool. I use my phone for my vlogging and other videos. So if I could use this for my phone then maybe I'd get it.
Digital Foto does make stabilizers/handles for Phone gimbals!
@@ThinkingArtEntertainment Awesome man!! Thank you for the info
Nice review! Hmm I’m glad you mentioned how you could possibly shrug up your shoulders causing upper back tension which I don’t need. Do you know a competing product that wouldn’t be as likely to cause this?
Hmm... not necessarily a competing product. Maybe if you got a shoulder strap or harness that took some of the weight off.
This is super cool
Thanks!
What a cool tool but not sure if I’d like the extra weight. Love the outtakes 😂😂
Thank you :) The extra weight definitely kinda sucks.
that's a crazy piece of gear.... maybe i'll popular enough to need one hahah
also, have you thought about facing the other way? where the window is not back lighting you? i know that gives us problem
Thanks! I actually have strongly considered it, but then you would just see my fridge, which isn't very interesting haha
nice test
Thanks!
Dude, you're building up that Ronin like frickin' Vultron!!🔥💥💥 Love the Subliminal "Fight Club" text flashes! Wow big difference with the Z. I gotta get me a Ronin fo sho! Outakes rule!
Thanks dude! It's definitely a fun, but heavy toy adding all these accessories haha
@@ThinkingArtEntertainment We should do a stabilization swap! I'll try the Ronin, you try the Glidecam 😉✌💥
good review good

Yeah, I learned how to use it better with more time!
I'm obviously only a hobby photographer, but: Is it true that people were sometimes strapping their cameras to a chicken's head for stability?
That's not true, no lol
Looks like a great bit of kit, also laughed at your genuinely annoyed face waiting for noisey cars nd people to leave 😂 sorry!
My fiance found great enjoyment in it too haha
oh yeah dat soundz fancey bro can u like order pizza wit it nd stuff? yeh wut is it???????? oh dat sunds like dat thing rlly haz a handel on it u know wut im sayin bro! yo i thught a gimble wuz one of doze toyz in my grannyz room guess not tho! oh no dont die gimbal LIVE 4EVER GIMBL oh its back did u take it 2 da Pet Cemetary?????? yo k gonn practize dat Ninja werk nd stuff! u know ur broze enus nd wenis r flushin da cash or waite r we flushed wit cash??????
Sadly no pizza ordering yet. I suspect that's in a future firmware update.

The clips are too small you keep changuin very difficult to appreciate the difference like that.
