Don't think it's just that. There are countless open world mods for AC1, so I think Kunos are just giving people what they clearly want but expanding it to have gameplay instead of just driving around aimlessly. It's great for current and potential new fans alike.
@ maybe not the open world but I hope the official release date is the same date as the PC. If this game does what it says it will completely change the game industry
There’s plenty of racing games out there people just want a chill fun driving game again that’s why Microsoft flight Sim and ETS2 and ATS are so popular
The one thing that puts me off from forza horizon and the crew is the physics. Evo is finally making the open world driving game I've been craving for years!
Will it offer a VR mode on PS5? That’s the big question. I’m sure it won’t. I would love to play AC Evo, but having VR mode in GT7 is just a game changer.
Visited the Ring last year and this never crossed my mind but genius move Kunos! I hope one day the bring the coaster back, was so disappointed it has been out of commission for a long time.
Finally a "Car Simulator". Not a racing game. But a Car version of Trucker sims. A reason to use button boxes, indicator stalks. A simulator you might actually train for driving on etc
One thing I hate about Gran Turusmo is not being able to qualify in races... Its basically a game of catch the leader from last place in every race... And they call that The Real Driving Simulation???? GT7 graphics are amazing though... I really do hope that EVo implements qualifying into any races.... The free roam, missions etc looks to be really cool idea as well.... And also apparently in VR?
At least conceptually, this is exactly what I have been waiting for. I want a Gran Turismo or Forza type game and (along with the option of multiplayer) a single-player career mode, but with sim physics and support for sim hardware, force feedback, ultrawides and triple screens. Not all of those details are shown/confirmed yet, and who knows how good it'll be early on, but this looks really promising from what they've shown so far.
The online aspect will be important for the freeroam for a lot of people. If Kunos can support 50+ players on a server, all roaming about, then it'll be a glorious experience. Though it would be wild to have a virtual 'UA-cam corner' situation watching random people bin it at Brunnchen whilst in the game.
You know what would be totally sick for them to do. Freaking parts of Autobahn and companies own test tracks... that would be something new in the industry.
With AC EVO eventually coming to console after its PC release with the potential for mod support and an open world, I can see GT7 being in some deep trouble. Kunos seems to be actually evolving the SIM genre and doing what many people have been asking for a long time.
Well yes it looks to be, But thats what gt7 needs, it has lacked any true competetion. Hopefully ac evo push gt8 to be the best it can be, i am very excited for ac evo, its a level of gt7 hype before it released.
I bet it's a huge valued entrepreneur's lobby. You get in the game and you'll stay in the game. But we'll see how the money, spending and investings will be on the topic soon.
As a RACING title... Assetto Corsa has more realistic elements of racing than gran Turismo ( which still does not know how a real rolling start goes). I have a feeling evo may be doing a little grabbing for casuals, but i feel it will be yet again a better experience on a wheel than a çonsole game with a way less defined tire model.
PSVR2 implementation will answer the question if it's better or not for me. I know they will support VR for PC on day one, but PS5 is yet to be confirmed 🤷♂️
So now I have to look around for cats in alleys with a beam of sunlight hitting them on a gloomy day? You know for special quests... Yeah, not interested. I am a racer, not a gamer.
I see this like a TheCrew type of game, where you have race events and tracks but people like to race public roads, with all the politics in germany it could be a headache (Nurburgring especific), but if the fear is the older AC players dont like free roam, well, ever and ever pple just drift mountains and rally public tracks in AC, I think it is just an idea that took too long to become real and official. xD
The cars dosent drive the same in gt7, just prooves you have not really played, Its not a full sim like ac evo will be, but you can still easily spot differences on different cars
The original asseto corsa is playable with controller, i could compete with skilled drivers in LFM playing with Xbox one controller, you just have to mess a bit with the configs
@@andreasmoller9798 I have to agree, i never played GT7, but in Forza MTP 8 you have a counter steer response that helps maintain the car in line and correcting it. Currently there is a mod called gamepad assistant for asseto where it helps a lot with driving.
It might just have that particular wing in the game. The guy is promoting it. His company makes that wing or it's a colab or something like that. I don't follow him very close.
It would be great as long as no race cars are allowed in free roam. Road legal cars only. This was a thing back in Project Cars 2 on the Nordschleife. Problem was that also all cars were allowed (except open wheels), which meant 15 year olds in high downforce race cars driving around thinking they were cool, but then often ended in them ramming the actual road cars, because of the performance differences. So no teeth rattling race cars allowed on public roads.
@@GM55_Manilock Nah. Road cars for public roads, race cars for race tracks. That way, those 15 year old nuisances actually learn how to handle a car in the sim and learn to be better drivers.
Much better to not try and make everybody conform to your preferences, but instead just allow people to set up their own servers, with their own car lists and the like. Giving the community freedom to control how they want to play is exactly why AC1 is so big.
I think Kunos finally realized that just being a race simulator is very limiting and you need some extra gaming aspects to cater the wider audience.
Don't think it's just that. There are countless open world mods for AC1, so I think Kunos are just giving people what they clearly want but expanding it to have gameplay instead of just driving around aimlessly. It's great for current and potential new fans alike.
@@CBadgereven open world itself isnt enough to cater to everyone, having a purpose like missions is definitely what will catch people’s attention
This is the game I’m waiting for!! Open world racing game with REALISTIC SIM PHYSICS! Only thing I’m afraid of is.. if my PS5 can handle it
It better
Why wouldn't it?
idk but I would even buy an extra SSD to play that game
But dont expect it on ps5 until maybe 2026

Gt7 is proably at its very end life circle when ac evo hit ps5, But it could really put some pressure for gt8. Witch is a good thing
If ac evo isnt psvr2, gt7 isnt in trouble
@ psvr2 is great but there’s a huge gap in the market for a good open world sim/simcade on PlayStation that EVO will definitely fill
@@andreasmoller9798 agreed
@@omarawilson2853 I just hope its also in VR 😬 but I doubt it
I hope the VR optimization will be decent for the more “lower” end computers. I would like it to perform like AMS2 if not better.
I dont understand how someone that liked AC1 and ACC would dislike Evo. It will have race tracks and race cars, what more do you want?
Honestly i need to know more about how multiplayer will work. I want something that competes with iracing
Probably not the game for that. Have a look at LMU or well.... Iracing? Nobody will make iracing better than iracing

Depends on how long early access takes. They've said we will get console versions as soon as the game hits 1.0
this game is going to be sim level forza horizon
Thats a really nice comparisson
That's what freeroam people have been asking for forever

Let's not get carried away with early speculation. ACC was not liked on release either but I'm hoping ACE is amazing
yea if ya listen to GM
+1
Yes if kunos deliver on the promises it Will wipe the floor with every racing game on the market.
