It's amazing how well it's recovered since 'The Big Freeze'. I always find it reassuring when a plant is ready for an up-pot. That larger pot you have chosen will really benefit the Carob at this stage of it's growth. 👍🏽
@@lyonheart84 yeah, it did grow well last year after I repotted it, but it only went up from a tiny 7/9cm Jurassic plants pot to a 1 litre pot. I guess it’s likely to be either a male or female tree so may never fruit. Although where I am right now there are plenty of carob bean trees, so maybe I can do a bit of grafting 😉😂
So much better Brett!
Should grow well again with fresh soil 🤞
I'm quite amazed how resilient Carob is - i grafted San Fran but Clifford gradt kept failing - voh well another year coming not ggwtti any younger kol
Unfortunately the plants aren’t available here in the UK any more and certainly no named varieties so I’m glad this one survived for me 👍

I hope so Dom, it looks pretty healthy at the moment, I’m hoping it will branch out more 🤞
It’s certainly recovered really well, Brett! That reminds me, mine will need repotting soon too.
I do think these need a good root run so hopefully yours will take off after you repot it
