Wow, this is just day one? What a champ! He’s so quiet! He’s going to be a fantastic undersaddle horse!
Hard to believe this is a horse whose never been handled before! Awesome job!
He seems like a quiet horse, you’re doing great for having him for not too long. I’m sure he will absolutely shine once he gets confident enough!
He’s doing such a great job in training! You got really lucky with Stitch, he’s such a great horse! Cant wait to get more updates of him.
But honestly why doesn’t she have more subs she deserves it
Thanks for the likes 👍🏼
For real. She is easily the most skilled I've seen of the younger mustang trainers(and she is as good/sometimes better than some of the older more experienced ones) and her videos are the best put together too.
ikr!!!!
@@juliagray207 agreed she’s pretty awesome
Thank you, I appreciate hearing that!
@@CZMustangs oh most definitely no problem ur pretty amazing with them I’m training a ottb and can’t even make half the progress with him in one day that u can wow
Day One was extraordinary. I look forward to watching your journey with this beautiful horse. Thank you for sharing your life.
Thank you so much!
Wow, I'm really impressed by your work. I've been horse riding in France for 12 years, not owning one I was only riding the club horses, and I can tell you 95% of them would have freaked out with these exercises. It's so wrong that as riders we don't learn more about horse behavior and desensitization. People here tend to like sensitive horses because they think they are such good riders and so brave to ride reactive horses, but this mindset is so wrong. Horses would be happier if they would get such an education. Again thank you for sharing this, can't wait to watch the next video.
He’s a lovely horse nice markings he trusts you!
Stitch when he sees that mop desensitizing stick: oookay you brought a ghost now? Sorry, not interested in friends right now.
He’s looking at you like, “don’t you do it, don’t touch me with the flag... STOP STOP FLAG BAD!!!!! Okay this isn’t TOO bad.”
He seems more well behaved than lots of other horses that have been with people all their life and he's a wild horse! I hope you have some footage of him playing with that ball. He's an adorable horse.
In a future video please explain how you decided on this horse during the selection process? Was there something about his demeanor that you knew he would be a fit for your training style; was it his conformation - or was it just his coloring? He's seems almost too calm for being 100% wild though. I'm wondering if he might have been owned on a reservation and later released.
He does seem very quiet, but in part 1 of this day, he was sensitive to his head being touched and also didn't understand pressure from the lead at all. If he'd been owned by people before, he would've been better about those things
When he was with the other wild mustangs, they seemed to be pushing him around a bit. He does seem like he has a quiet personality maybe like us human introverts 🙃 That's just the feel I got from her video when she selected him.
They each have a different personality. I rode a mustang in classes, he was very calm, but a bit stubborn (like if he found a weed he wanted to munch on, he would not budge, even with the instructor trying to work with him). My sister's paint horse was very spunky, but kind of in a silly way, very different from my horse. They are as individual as people.
He is a lovely horse. just found your channel and I love it. It is really inspiring what you do with horses 🐴 😁
Thank you!
Its crazy how calm and chill he is!
So I train youngsters in England and I wish we had something like this here. It’s incredible watching you and learning new techniques and things to try. Keep the videos coming🥳❤️
She's such a good trainer and the horse is so willing👍👍
Thank you!
Very impressive little guy! You clearly know what you're doing and have excellent timing and do a good job watching his cues. He has a great thinking brain on him and isn't terribly reactive which is lovely to work with.
I'd love to hear what exactly you looked when when selecting your picks from the herd and why you use those factors (do you personally enjoy them, are those easier to train with your methods etc)
Ok. I love him. I am looking forward to his progress. You are doing such a nice job. Patience and care. 😊
Wow! Crazy on day one ur already leading him
@Cadee Johnson don’t you follow day by day vlogs? I recognize your name!
@@annegulbransen3961 haha yes I do! I recognize your name as well!
He's such a good boy. You are so good and gentle with him.
That hugging at the end! 😍❤️ What a sweetheart
Wow he is a buddy!!
Phenomenal job! Great props to play with!
Good for you!(and him for having you to train him)
Awesome, only one day in and he already acts like a completely different horse. Clearly removing all the fear and panic he had towards humans was almost a releaf for him, now he can finally relax. Can't wait to see this lil guys progress.
Wish all horses were started like this. I'd love to do this with my daughter's pony but not sure my mum would be impressed. 🙈
with how quiet and accepting he is of everything i can definitely see him being a big role model for little kids or new riders as a lesson horse 🥰
I can't wait to see more of his training. He seems to be a decent and patient boi.
All I can say is wow! You are a great trainer and I loved your methods. He is going to be a great horse someone will be lucky to get him unless you decide to keep him with you.
4:47 pretty sure that was unintentional, but that was very good! He turned his entire body towards you. He’s a very clever horse :)
@Just me - I think she was holding him by his halter, and he is a very clever horse.
My tame 20 year old would freak out with that ball! What a sweet calm boy.
I watched 2 videos of him and already love and invested in your horse and his progress
He’s such a chill guy. Also, I love your approach with him!
I love Mustang❤
Now I'm invested, this is so interesting
Hope next day comes out soon!
(Lowkey waiting for the video of him playing with the big ball)
I'm so invested in his journey
This is an awesome horse! You’re doing so well with him and love the training updates. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you
Man at 3:21 you can literally see him thinking... You are fantastic!!
You are truly amazing! I wish I got to learn this went I went to riding school as a young kid. It´s all about trust! Really wish that everyone would treat their horse with this much respect. Will be so fun to watch your journey together.
Even changing out his halter he is so calm.
Miss 9 and I loved watching this. Going to watch the next steps in awe
Pink! It had to be pink! 😀😀😀😊
i really like how you're just not going around the mustangs on your toes. The world is a loud and very quickly pacing place and things fall, make noise, things move fast etc, I think it's a bad habit a lot of riders/owners have that causes issues when eventually something happens. He's taking it like a champ.
Wow! What a superstar!🙂
wow he's learning so fast!
Fantastic job! Love your training approach!
Thank you!
Smart boy! So calm and unafraid! You picked out a real good one! And just Day ONE! He'll be doing Airs above the Ground by the end!
the whole time with the weird flag all I could hear was the lilo and stitch "she s touching me! I'm not touching you! SHES TOUCHING ME! Am not you big baby." 🤣🤣🤣 like I said in the first video he's too smart for his own good😄he's doing great and I see many possibilities for him being so smart and calm. You definatly got a keeper on your hands.
He is so pretty and good he's a good horse
You are a very good trainer.
Love it!!!💕 great job!
What a smart horse, cant wait to see more
He's so cute! I love him already🥰 his name is great too. Before you said it I thought he should be named Snoopy or something and then you said Stitch and it fits so well!
THE Best OUT Of The THREE CAT To Me You Are NUMB ONE KEEP It Up You Are Good
Nice! He’s going to be great!❤️
Love you videos!!! Can't wait for the next one!! Hint hint!!! lol
Wow! He did so good! I can't believe this was all only day 1! You both conquered and worked on so much!
He is so smart and gorgeous!
So exciting cant believe its only your second session with him, he is so quiet!
Quiet...🙂
@@jaykb6587 😆 Thanks!
great work! he`s making incredible progress
Everyone feels better with a fresh change of clothes! lol
Hi I love your channel! Stitch is too cute, I would bid on him if I could!
So adorable!
Can you show how he's playing with the ball? I would like to see that
Is the next update coming soon? I'm so excited for this I keep checking for updates lol
I’m working on it!! It’ll be up by the end of the week. With travel, my schedule is a bit off this week!
@@CZMustangs - You can tell everyone is excited to see your progress AND you have a life outside uploading videos. You're doing a great job!
@@CZMustangs Apologies! I don't mean to rush you🌸🌱 But I'm super happy to hear another update is in the works!
When I saw that tarp come out and he's just like sure whatever, I thought to myself, oh so she's just a witch. GOT IT.
Really though this is so incredible, I am so impressed. Calm horse with a good mind? Sure, but you are really underselling your skill here. I don't have much experience with mustangs and definitely none with wild horses, but I've worked with "difficult" horses and the tarp sometimes is a barrier they just can't get past. Now I'm off to rethink my past failures...
wow you guys are doing great! you earned a new follower.
Your work is amazing!
Thank you!
WOW go Stitch look at him shine...
He’s doing soooo well! You got a great little Mustang for this makeover- cannot wait to watch his progress, I bet he’s going to be a great horse for whoever gets him.
PS: Did I hear a name? I had a name idea : Honkytonk (if you did accidentally disclose his name , I like the one you said too)
His name is Stitch
@@avi_barrelracer7476 that’s what I thought she said- wasn’t sure if she was keeping it secret like some other trainers do.
@@MBrusaZappellini She talked about that at the end of Part One: She reveals the name after taking off the neck tag, and that had already happened at this point :)
@@pandanouk thanks- I must have missed that part of that video- ( multitasking, I know how that goes)...
I was just checking because I wasn’t sure if that was a mistake reveal- (some EMM trainers are very secretive about the names)
Stitch suits him well
Im new here but Im Look every day to see if you have a new Update
He is amazing
He knows he's in a better place with you
You did a great work. Hats off
My goal is to someday as an adult, “dress up” as a cowboy and ride a horse around for Halloween. Maybe bring my nephew along hahahhahaa
omg, this is day one??!
@greenseasun - Yes! This is part 2 of day one! As a horsewoman, I find it amazing that he's this far so soon.
This is one super horse! It will be hard to part with him. 😩
Yes it will!
Wooooow
great work, super quiet mustang. just one question pop in my head - Why you are not wearing a helmet while working with mustangs?
Question. When do you know when to release pressure with the mop thing? If you had a horse who was more spooked by that, would you release pressure when he started backing away from it so as not to overwhelm him? Or would you maintain pressure until he stopped?
Such a handsome guy
oh my fuching gahd it's morning here in Philippines and i still don't sleep cause I'm waiting fo this
I would have taken the flag part slower but good job
Any tips & tricks for a 7month old Filly that doesn’t have respect to the Electric fence?🙃 she snaps it and sneaks out.
I don't think I've ever seen anybody take the tag off on the first day
He is so cute! Do you mustangs come with health issues when you get them? I really like mustangs too and hope to adopt one one day.
What about day 2????
Could you possibly share the link for the flag stick?
So I had a curious question. These horses have probably never seen a farrier and what not. About when would you introduce them to there first one.
After they’re gentled, halter broke, and handle their feet well, I just need to see that they’re safe for a stranger to come in and handle their feet. It usually only takes a few weeks.
@@CZMustangs oh okay. That makes sense. Thank you.
How knowledgeable should someone be of horse training before attempting to gentle a mustang? Is this a no-go for someone how hasn't trained a horse fully before, but has worked with horses?
For the first day did you ever use vocal cues? clicking talking?
Hi, how did you do it with feeding? It isn't clear how long he was in muddy pen. Did he get some hay in the trailer or between sessions (in the sand pen)? Because I think this travel must took long time and horse should be eating continualy all day. Not be hungry more then few hours
He is doing really great, good luck you both :)
He has free choice Alfalfa 24/7
I know how to understand horse
He is such a good horse😁 how much did he cost?
Can this also be done with mules that are near the age of 2 and a half old?
im getting a two year old
Do you end up keeping some or do you sell all you work with?
Im thinking his really introvert. A bit shutoff. Am i wrong? He doesnt really want to move. She calls him Lady! I really dont think so.
Sorry, did you have the time to make another video of your work with stitch?
Yes I am trying to get it up over the weekend, my schedule is tough this past week due to travel!
@@CZMustangs Amazing! Thank you
Where are your mustang's auctioned? What do they usually go for?(ballpark figure)
The Extreme Mustang Makeover will be auctioning them off following the competition to approved bidders. It can range anywhere from $200-10,000+ just depending on the interest in the horse and how many are bidding.
@@CZMustangs thank you. We are currently looking to buy and this is helpful. Also, I admire your gift of training. You are truly blessed. I admire you immensely.
I can’t hear for sure. But do you talk to the mustangs while you train them?
Yes! My camera doesn’t always pick it up because I’m naturally quiet and talk to them in a quieter tone, as well as the constant voice overs over the original audio.
I use verbal queues in my training as well
@@CZMustangs thanks! I always talk to my horses too but didn’t know your views!
Why does youre day two part one video says it's private?
It’ll be back up tonight!
@@CZMustangs great thanks 🙏
When's the next upload? It's been a week 👀
The end of the week due to travel
