I'm not that disciplined either in keeping track of my projects and yet I am.
I have a little notebook in which I write date, design, fabric etc for each project.
I don't keep tracks of days, and yet I might do.
I take photos and a lot of them. At least every time I have stitched on a project.
That works perfectly for me.
That hanger you showed. They are very common here in Denmark, we use them for trousers 😊 Think we have +10 of them.

I am dying about the dress situation. LOL I have problems with living up to the "ladiness" of dresses as well. Last time I wore a dress, I was at a fancy restaurant and when I was walking down the huge, carpeted, gorgeous staircase right in the middle of the restaurant I tripped over it (it was a long dress) and the host standing at the bottom of the stairs had to catch me. *sigh* Lovely to see your new space, and your face!!

That purple couch is everything,.....purple is my favorite color. So happy you are settling in to your new home. Had me laughing with the "free shows". WIPS are beautiful and I think it's every stitchers mantra "Just have to pull that back out".
This might be a bit late, but I love your WIPs-thanks for sharing. The hanger you showed is a pants hanger. They work really well for skirts too. You can get them at any big box store or online. Good luck! I never thought of using them for my projects-thanks!

Thanks for keeping me company in the studio today! Jam is snoozing on his chair behind me I kept looking between him and Gazpacho to make sure everybody was settled. So much beautiful stitching and a beautiful couch!

Welcome back! Loving the lady lair! That fancy wooden clamp hanger is actually made for hanging dress pants, though it works wonderfully for stitching as well. You should be able to find more easily, I think I had gotten mine at walmart.
I had no idea!! Now I am going to have to keep my eye out for them at walmart!
It's so nice to see you getting back into a routine. I was wondering how you think your stitching (WIPs, new starts, and haul) will change since you have been reunited with your stash. I know in the Bahamas you kept your projects to a minimum and kept your haul and stash in Texas.
I also wonder how this will affect my stitching! I think it's more the temptation vs actually starting several things at once! I tend to look at my stash and wish to start things more than usual but can resist!!

Yes! Finally finished the dress, the lantern and the houses stitch super fast and now I'm left with the greenery and berries.

You know this will be the rambling comments ... first, I love the ambient music. Everyone should have a soundtrack.
OK - next day - this is what happens during renovations ... LOL - "awkward zooming in". I use to work at Renaissance faires, and sometimes I would post some pictures from me in my costuming, and I wouldn't think anything about it. Then I would get "whoa" type of comments, and it was because I was super boobie and didn't realize it. 😲😆 All those pictures are now hidden, but you know, the internet. My Cinderella got wet in the Great Ice Freeze Pipe Burst Disaster of 2021 - and there is definitely a water stain. 😩 I was able to save the pattern thankfully - because I am working off the paper and didn't scan it like a buffoon. So Cinderella is on a break while I decide if I should wash it now or just keep stitching - decision paralysis. So happy that you are in your Lady Lair and that life is coming back together. Love the couch!

Oh no, I love my mcg textiles 28 count evenweave. I’ve got 1 piece of it left. (Only had 2 pieces to boot.) Their 32 count linen was absolutely rubbish though.
I have yet to start my TK B&tB...I picked up fabric to replace the kit fabric, but I still need to finish a project or two (or 3?) to free up a qsnap or frame. But the blackout threw me off stitching, I feel so unproductive, seems like I’m only getting 1000 stitches a week combined on all my projects.
Any stitches is progress!! (or at least that's what I keep telling myself) 😂

I ONLY use my stand now! I love it with all of my heart! I plan on doing an update video in the near future about how I use it and my current thoughts on it.

What you can do with dresses is wear form fitting exersize shorts. It's what I do😁 they don't need to be skin tight just not the puffy ones lol.
