I install cellulose insulation. I rent a uhaul, then drive to home depot where I buy the insulation and the machine rental is free. My cost is $500. I charge $1 per square foot making me about 2k in profit. The only actual equipment that I own is a knife. I can do more than 2 a day saving on the rentals.

Great content. Thanks for sharing those important tips. I am in the process of starting my own polyurea coating business. You've definitely earned a sub and am looking forward to more of your content. Keep up the great work!
Good video however there's some things to keep in mind. The spray equipment and trailer and truck will cost $100k on the low end. The equipment not simple to fix and needs to run regularly. You should have clients already set up and be handy and somewhat mechanicaly savy. It's also very competitive in many cities.
I've been spraying foam for 30 years. I've noticed in the past couple years. There's a lot more people in this area spraying foam The market's getting saturated. The prices are going to start being cut word that free. I hate to have to owe equipment home and vehicle payments. Good luck to the new guys. I'm heading out. The profit's not as big as it used to be. You're feeding these people false information.
There are so many applicators in the market. Nowa days, it's hard to make a living, just spraying foam insulation. It's getting to be. A addition, business to heat and air drywall. Framing, you can't make a living spray in foam insulation by itself. This is my last year. People getting desperate to make ends meet. Spraying To thin and spraying off ratio is getting to be. More of a issue than ever. Before.
It would be hard to start a spray foam installation. Nowadays. 30 years ago I was the only guy other than one other in Oklahoma? People are doing jobs around here for less than 50 cents a square foot profit.
Bro you had it for 30 years why you complaining. Probably you didn’t use marketing and you provided bad costumer service. Not sure if I miss it but what kind of licenses does someone with no experience needs to get and which ones? Because I though you need to be a licensed contractor and to get that license is another story. ?
Hello, can you tell me if it is realistic for a migrant to get such a job? My husband used to do this kind of work in Russia. If it is possible, what kind of salary can a migrant expect?
Do not, do not, do not buy into a franchise that does this. You will not be properly trained, and you will spend way more money than you really need to have spent. And if you are struggling, I don’t care. They will not provide any support and they will charge you weekly fees, regardless, if there’s any income.

Dang that’s awesome! Crazy profit! How many days a week do you work?
Do you need any license or anything like that to start it or can you just get an LLC and start it

Awesome information, thanks for sharing!
Good video Nate.
Just insurance cost in New Jersey around 12 k a year for small family company.
Wow! That is pretty high!
Your insurance rates shouldn't start out that high if you have only a few employees and pieces of equipment.

Yeah if the market gets flooded, the pricing will go down.
How much do you actually make? Realistically? Thank you

Every state and county is different. It is best to research your own area.
How do you estimate a job?
I would recommend doing extensive research, looking up other UA-cam videos and potentially shadowing another company
I don't need to make a 180000 a yearsixty 90 thousands. Plenty for me. I could lower my price and get more jobs.
As long as you are profitable and are comfortable living off that then that is good!
what about Training to do all of this?
What do you mean? Training on how to install insulation?
yes. Training on how to do an Insulation install and or spray @@nate_indiana_jones
I would google classes and try to find one close.

Isn't $56k x 12 = $672k not $675k
Yeah I may have got that wrong 😂😂
stay with one rig. spray foam is tricky so don't make it more complicated, just make that money and not that headache.
Exactly sometimes scaling doesn’t make sense!
Why couldn’t u just start by urself
You can. It may be hard to do it all alone.
Is this included paying employees or you doing it your self? On the cash flow part.
You would never make it doing insulation yourself, better to work for someone at that point as a sub of a sub.
The 40% profit margin includes labor.
Agreed, labor is a must and will be your biggest problem. @@yanbaihuzxzxzx
