I recently got a Wavlink router/ ap / repeater. I made a 24V battery out of the 18650s to power it directly. The battery is charged from a solar panel 100W 18V with a small mppt step up charger. It works well. It does not need a 100W panel, a 40W is ok, but my panel is behind a tree so it gets much less light.

Too bad it can't provide more power but there might be a solution by using 2 boards in parallel.
Somebody knows the ic it uses as stepup?
