Thanks for product links! I am planning out what my strategy will look like and you've helped greatly. Thanks for all the effort you put into your video, I know the time it takes to create.
I was told the silver bubble insulation is only R3 which won't help as much. I use that to make large envelopes to store framed art for festivals. Someone mentioned foamboard insulation sheets usually 4x8 and cut to fit the sides and height
@michellemlmille8171 so you have the Santorini? I was going for Intex until 4 days ago when someone told me about SaluSpa Santorini. Now I'm liking it better than Intex
I wasnt being rude. I keep mine running all winter as well in Canada. In your case it just looked like you might as well empty it in fall since it didnt look like it would be used (didnt say to deflate). Thanks for explaining why you dont.
Ok my apologies! Thank you for correcting my misunderstanding! I appreciate that! I pray you’re staying warm in those frigid temperatures up there! One of my Canadian friends said minus 40 degrees (Fahrenheit). Sending apologies and love🤗💝💐
What insulation panel did you say you put the ground before you setup your tub? I know I saw somewhere that whatever you set your tub on, you need to be sure to cut a piece for under the heater/pump so the pipes line up
There are many different brands and thicknesses of home insulation boards at the hardware stores that you can choose from. I personally just put two plyboards down on the ground with an old blanket on top to sit my hot tub on and that works out perfectly. But here is a link to one of the many insulation boards you can get… Thank you!!! www.homedepot.com/pep/Owens-Corning-FOAMULAR-NGX-Insulating-Sheathing-0-5-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-SE-R-3-XPS-Rigid-Foam-Board-Insulation-13NGX/315193939?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&mtc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-D22-022_004_INSULATION-NA-OWENS_CORNING-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-MK881199001-26111-NBR-2284-NA-VNT-FY24_Q1_Q4_OwensCorning_D22_RM_Silver_AON&cm_mmc=SHOPPING-RM-RMP-GGL-D22-022_004_INSULATION-NA-OWENS_CORNING-NA-PMAX-NA-NA-MK881199001-26111-NBR-2284-NA-VNT-FY24_Q1_Q4_OwensCorning_D22_RM_Silver_AON-71700000118655843--&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAolLu9_NZ55bLnV9pgTVv4Ih5hYt2&gclsrc=aw.ds
Personally I leave the thermostat where it’s most comfortable for what the outdoor temperatures are and adjust accordingly when need be for personal comfort.👍😊
For one, if you do the research, it does more harm than good to take these things down and try to store them through the winter, in not all, but most cases. Therefore not only is it my personal choice, but MANY OTHERS personal choice to leave them up through the winter and do this too! For two, it doesn’t bother me to do it, nor the other many people that do it, and it’s not a big deal to remove the few simple things for the few warmer times during the beginning of winter I might want to get in it. For three, I don’t use it in the coldest of winter! And for four, there’s no reason to get rude! Thanks for commenting!🤗 It helps the algorithms to spread my fantastic video that so many are liking and getting help from!!!😁🙌🙌
You should have built brick around it, framed inside of that with wood, ran insulation inbetween the studs, then covered the studs with greenboard. Painted it and added a roof..........

Or use pool noodles or an old winter jacket
How much does it save? And what where the total cost?

do you have a link to the black cover you used to cover the entire tub once you were done?

Just got one of these. Do you leave it at the temperature you want all the time or should you lower it durning the day?

So what is the purpose? You might as well just empty it for the winter as you arent going to take that all and put back on everytime you use it.

@@michellemlmille8171 Can you explain how it harms it to store it away for the winter? I hadn't heard that before.
my God.... wouldnt it be easier to just take it down?

No. We use them during the winter.
