I’ve been issued two pairs of military AKU’s with goretex (Griffins and Pilgrims) and bought a pair of non goretex Pilgrims myself to complement them in the summertime. By far after my 32 years of service these are the best boots I have ever worn and I’ve tried a lot.
I have two pairs of these, brilliant boots, I'm a heavy guy and the soles are super supportive. After a couple of years the soles needed replacing but the uppers are solid.
You can find the Pilgrim TSC DS Boot here: akuoutdoor.us/products/pilgrim-tsc-ds

15 years of service, try countless boots... AKU was a revelation. Instant confort!
I've been wearing mine for years. My only complaint is that there is no cushion on the insole so the bottom of my feet can become fatigued.
At least that's something that can be relatively easily remedied.
Hello, I can’t find anything on what crampons to use with these. Any help would be appreciated.
Do they make them in a size 16
Damn man big ass feet
Seems like a logical thing to do would be to check the website
You trying to flex the size of your feet? Odd.
@@othernamesweretaken1871 bet my military career he don't stand ten toes down with them big ass feet either. 😂
They make an 8.5 for you.
They don’t offer size 14! Wtf!
