When I (like two days ago) found this guy I thought "It would really be cool if he did a collab with Wendigoon." And first YT video of his I watch is this. The stars have aligned.
As an atheist who’s interested in the history of religion of all sorts and can’t sit down and read scripture for the life of me, I too love these collabs :)
My dad passed away in Feb. of 2021 2 days after his 64 birthday. He had been on hospice for about 8 months at the time and I was living there to help take care of him with my mom and son. He was always very well versed in the Bible, the lost texts and tons of history and conspiracies. Our living room was literally filled with books, and they were either Civil War history, Civil War strategy, JFK, The Bible or anything by Ken Burns as I grew up. And while he was always interested in these things even when he wasnt living the most Christian life, his last 5 years were truly dedicated to learning and understanding everything about the Bible. I say all of that seemingly meaningless stuff because every time I watch you guys now, I can't help but think that me and my dad would have a BALL spending hours talking about the talks and topics you guys open up.
As a Irish man who has researched Irish folklore and the bible for years, I'm really surprised you were mentioned the Tuatha de Danann and they're not elves as such but they did become the Faeries after death and a whole different level of research. Nuada was the king of the Tuatha de Danann and battled against giants in Ireland one of the giants were called Balor of the evil eye and I personally believe that Balor was a watcher or a Nephilem. Balor was known as a Firmorian which translates from Gaelic to English as giant men or big men, Balor actually killed Nuada in combat and was later killed by Lugh of the long hand in battle. In regards to the Tuatha de Danann, they're mystical beings and the Banshee came from the Tuatha as they mean Faerie women and also taught us magic and music, to this day Irelands national symbol is the Harp as they brought their instruments. There's so much rich history in Ireland. God bless.
I don't know if you know this yet, seeing as the comment is 2 months old you may have stumbled upon it already, but The Lore Lodge has done videos on Celtic folklore specifically before if you wanted to check those out too.
I once witnessed one of the thrones. I didn't realize it until recently after studying the Bible a bit. Now, let me preface this by saying I took entirely too much LSD on this day, however my experience felt more real than base reality. My vision went entirely kaleidoscopic before the world collapsed in on itself. I was then filled with terror as I saw these, I guess, wheels within wheels, spinning and speaking to me in a language I couldn't comprehend audibly. But for some reason I could understand what they were saying. And it was "do not fear me. You are seeing beyond what you should be capable of". It felt like I peeled back the veil and took a peek into the realm of the angels. And it was TERRIFYING.
Psychedelics allow the brain to perceive the world in manners not normally accessible. It's completely possible you tapped into a nonmaterial plain and encountered something.
I always believed in God but I never had faith in God, until I started learning more through you. I’m so glad I found your youtube channel. I finally understand Gods message (of course I still have so much more to learn!) Thank you🙏🏻❤️
Hey @wendigoon, I had never heard an interpretation of hell that had ever rung true to me. When you said that, I got literal chills. I’m Agnostic, and was raised Catholic, but I left that the minute I had a prefrontal cortex. But I love the book of Enoch(I read it myself), and I know the history of the Coptic Christians. But yeah, you kinda left me floored, my guy. Im a long time fan, but thought I would listen to this podcast because the title caught my eye. Love ya both. Really happy to have found such great UA-camrs. Keep on keepin on, brothers. Sincerely, A girl from the South.
@@producedbygreyson3598 if you are Catholic that already says A WHOLE LOT about your intelligence if you believe in a religion that basically killed hundreds of people to be the biggest. Yeah you have not proven me wrong. I know you think you did but come at me with a dead religion really doesn’t ring true to me and never will.
I’m sure someone else has mentioned this but 22:20 when you’re taking about Michael. The prince of Persia is referring to the enemy/demon/principality that Michael was fighting. Not Michael himself.
Wendidad has some great recommendations (Emerson is based, Thurough is still good, but I would also suggest Postman and Wallace’s writings as they’re all pretty based and interesting).
So, from my understanding listening to Orthodox Priests talk about the book of Enoch, it's kind of Holy. It was not "added" to the Canon of scripture for the Ethiopians, because it was in their Canon when they were Jewish. In fact, most tribes of Israel had slightly different canons of scripture. When the Christians Churches were founded, they took on those historical canons for the OT. While first Enoch never became Canon for the rest of the Christian world, at least in the East, it was held in a level of regard. There are manuscripts of Enoch that are very, very old that have been preserved by monks on Mount Athos, as to them its something worth preserving for what it provides. Now, what I feel it provides is this: Genesis skips over so much detail of the world pre and post deluvian. How I've heard that explained is simply that it wasn't relevant to scripture, as early people would already know alot about the Flood, Giants and the implications of all of that. Enoch fleshes that out. So while only being "kinda Holy", but not fully divinely inspired (according to most Christianity, that does not invalidate its liturgical usage for Ethiopians), it assists the reader in deriving correct context and a correct reading of the earliest books of the Bible. The contention over the Deutrocanonical books of the Bible between Prots and non Prots has always been "is it divinely inspired". But for me, the importance of these books does not go away if they aren't fully proven to be divinely inspired to the point of being used in worship. Because they help the reader better understand Scripture, so that they may better understand their faith, and their God.
it's nice to hear some "sane" people talk about the bible, without trying to sell some kind of doomsday or militant agenda. analyzing it purely as a semi-historical or mildly mythological document it's fascinating.
Agreed. I like to consider it like this; Imagine the world of LOTR, Star Wars, etc. People love lore. The type of things people create in those worlds based on just a phrase or word. Now imagine having 2000+ years of that and massive, worldwide institutions based around studying and furthering that lore. With the exception of the "you MUST believe/love" stuff, religion/theology is extremely fascinating and full of rabbit holes that would baffle the most studied fantasy/sci-fi nerd.
@@shanerc if you like rabbit holes look up tartaria. Some of the offshoots of this subject include mudfloods, nephilim, great fires taking place between late 1800s to early 1900s,free energy from tartarian structures, man made rivers of the early 1800s and the world fairs.
Ngl, ive been a floundering christian for a bit. Organized religion left me bitter, angry, and quite literally in a pit of despair. Funnily enough, it felt like i was in hell, and here we are with these gentlemen describing a portion of hells reality as a pit of despair. Since i left organized religion, ive been feeling much better, but i am still religious, primarily towards the christian sect. This was a very eye opening revelation to christianity, and more importantly, the true nature of gods grace, which sadly 20+ years of church and christian school never taught me. This was an enlightening topic both in history, in theology, and in belief. Thank you for your time and effort on this stream, boys! Im now a Cultist of The Lore Wendigoon 😂
50-ish minutes in. Guys, there are two “Hells”. There is Sheol, which is where the unsaved go now. The Lake of Fire is after the final judgement in Revelation, and Hell is thrown into the lake of fire, which was actually created for the devil and his angels (Matt 28), not for mankind.
Kind of interesting that you mention Hades/Tartarus/Hell as being the void. It’s remarkably similar to many Eastern Orthodox interpretations of what hell is, and that is existing in the void, surrounded by God’s love, but existing in a state where you’re turned away from it, and that’s what makes the void hell
I think in enoch they say black holes are prisons too. He went to a moon base and measured the temple. The spaceship dimensions fit perfectly inside the temple dimensions.
Sounds like Popogusso,, Algonquin for hell, reminiscent of the “chains of darkness”, “written into the earth”, of bibel. Yes, Givel or bibel as is known today means, “well of the god(s)”. The Greeks borrowed from Phoenicia.
Gods love can either Deify you, or Burn you. Hell was destroyed by Jesus Christ descending into it, filling hell with his presence. This is essential Orthodox doctrine, called the harrowing of Hades
Funny thing is If I recall correctly Tolkien ALSO thought mythology elves and angels were very similar and that's why his elves in LotR were the way they were

Yo you guys would absolutely love the Lord of Spirits podcast. It’s 2 Orthodox Christian priests (one of which is a doctor of Old Testament Biblical Studies) break down the spiritual realm background of the Bible
Quick note: During the second temple period 1 Enoch (The only trustworthy book of Enoch) WAS considered to be nearly as influential and important to the worldview of the ancient jewish people and new testament writers as the rest of the old testament. Good info on the Book of Enoch can be found in the extensive research done by Dr. Michael S Heiser, particularly in his books "Reversing Hermon" and "The Unseen Realm"
11:32 Reminds me of trees, which are giants, that live in the earth, and are connected to the term arbor, similar to gibor, and the roots are actually penetrating(sex)the earth which is looked at as feminine, or daughter of Gaia, the Mother spirit or sky goddess/air-water vapor, which is connected to the earth.
You have to think about what it truly means to be without god though? No comfort could be had without god. Even just to sit in a pit of despair would not suffice to a place without god. I understand the thought of it not being literal flames. Also what is said about the lake of fire? I’m not quite sure

I was so surprised to see someone mention the Tuatha de Danann on here and very interesting point, also Nuada battled the giants in Ireland the Firmorians. God bless from Ireland.
@@wolfe6819 well I was having some personal issues. Life stuff. Decided to go meditate at this close by park. Was around dusk. There is this stoop I like to sit on. It's right by the water. So I did. Was just sitting there meditating. The sun went down. I was about 45min to an hour sitting there. All of a sudden these transparent pyramids floated down on top of me. They were all different colors and I could stick my hand through them. I was taken aback a bit by this to say the least. Then a bright light formed in front of my face. And it seemed to be spinning. The light, As I'm looking at it, becomes cycling faces. An eagle , a lion, a human and then a goat or bull. It spoke but not out loud. In my head it reassured me about my issue. (I was worried about dying) . Paraphrasing here, but the message was , don't you want to explore what's out there? It basically said there's more. And to not worry. But not with words. I'm not sure but I think I cried. It was a while ago and I was in a bad place kinda. Also no feet. Just a ball of light. Side note. The biblically accurate angels in pictures always have wings, and I think that they don't, but it's to represent the ability to fly. Just food for thought. Also I'm not sure this was 100% a cherubim. There was another thing that happened after that when the light thing evaporated. Which I'm not gonna get into right now. It was pretty epic for me. And God bless.
decades ago when I was a young lad in school, I often interrupted bible class to verbally formulate my theory that the story of Greek creation and titans/gods is actually referring to the children of the sons of god and daughters of men. in biblical story, brothers and sisters have children together, just like the Greek gods did. Various parallels between elements in Enoch and other biblical and para-biblical texts. Which all ultimately wound up with me getting detention because I couldn't keep my heretical theories to myself....
As a Welsh person while historically Chritiantiy was at the heart of our little nation and having a Welsh language bible saved our native language from extinction in return, we are probably first on the list of nations to destroy. We were the first industrialised nation so you can blame us for climate change. We invented mail order shopping and therefore paved the way for Amazon. We were pioneers of early flight and are therfore directly responsible for what happened in New York back in 2001. Last but not least we named a place Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch just to give dyslexic people nightmares.

Same, I've often felt that he'll is the absence of God. It is eternal loneliness, and as someone who fears earthly loneliness I cannot imagine a more horrible fate.
I am agnostic, to put in my perspective of belief; I believe that it is wrong to say that your excluded from heaven (or equivalent) if you believe in other gods or don't believe in any, because why would God or any other god only show up in one place and expect people to spread faith and others to trust that? People are flawed and it makes it hard to trust someone who brings you only Faith but no evidence. I believe as long as you live a good life and be a good person you'd get into heaven (or equivalent) you don't have to be Saint or anyting cuz nowadays we literally have the saying, "no deed goes unpunished." Just do good where you can do good without sacrificing yourself and you'll be good
@44:39 This idea that the spirits of man stay on the Earth speaks to a theory I've been developing. Gravity affects spirits/souls. The Earth, the Sun, the Moon, Mars, comets, all celestial bodies are capable of holding spirits/souls and transporting them throughout the entire universe. **I'm not sold on this part** but this could mean that Heaven is the Sun. There is a process by which we can move our spirits/souls from the Earth to the Sun.
For many years now I’ve had a theory that it’s possible that the energy expelled from you at the time of your passing could hold a weight, whether it be physical or spiritual, depending on the good and bad things you’ve done in your life and perhaps negative energy could weigh more than positive energy causing you to quite literally either get pulled towards the hot burning center of the earth or ascend into the sky. Just a weird theory though.

If I remember it correctly, this book was removed from the scriptures before the Canonization at the Concile of Trient took place. In the Book of Enoch, there is one occasion in which the word satans in plural form is used. This word can also mean "The Prosecutors" in the sense that the entities which helps Luzifer. Iob is a very good example to verify this. In the entire bible, the term "Satan" which is "the Challenger of God" is never used as a name. This means, this term refers not a single entity, but of many different characters which collaborate with Luzifer- Luzifer which translates to "Bringer of Light." Once he was an Angel and God appreciated him very much. We could say that he was God's Darling but then became arrogant and started a rebellion against good, then some other Angels followed him. Enoch, as a deeply weird and geeky aside, plays an important role in the Faction Paradox universe of books. FP is an obscure spin off from a single Doctor Who novel from more than 25 years ago. It's meta-textual spin off from an obscure reference.... rather like how the Book of Enoch is a spin off from an obscure reference in Gensis
fair warning I've only read proverb without context, the gen, exod and numb. so take that with a grain of heresy. that said, It's my understanding that before salvation through grace of christ was a thing the jewish hell was where souls would rest waiting final judgement. heaven of christianity is a waiting room before the arrival of the new world. the lake of fire is basicly the final destination of thoses who didn't pass judgment day or so I think according to the two christian friends I have
It's a crazy idea but Wendigoon saying that "we entertain Angels unaware" is oddly belivable to me. I don't know exactly how to put it, but my most spiritual and or unexplainable moments (or, explainable only by the existance of higher powers.) Have been when I have been very emotinonaly animated, and actively, out loud called out to "higher powers" (the scary part is that I called on Any and All powers...and now I don't know what answered.) The easy option would be to chalk it up to an overactive immagination and a hightened emotinal state. But... considering my experiences and the raw energy I have felt when in such states. The scientific answer seems like an easy out. Nor can it give a good or full explanaiton of such experiences.

@@dameongeppetto Yes, Im aware of it. The tricky aspect is it can't necessarily be ruled out because John 21:25 suggests that there's a lot of things Jesus did that are not in the bible.
@@jonjohnson445 okay. I thought you didn't know there was a Book of Enoch based on your comment, as it isn't ever discussed in most Christian denominations. The Bible is a collection of books, short stories, and letters compiled by the Romans in the 4th century to keep a diaspora in line. 2000 years later and people are still blindly following it.
My understanding of hell (hades, sheol) is when a follower of Christ dies they go to to be with Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:8) and those who aren't written in the book of life are in a sort of waiting place (which isn't a nice place e.g weeping and gnashing of teeth) waiting for judgment and after the 1000 year reign of Christ, all the souls will be judged and then along with death and hades will be cast in the lake of fire (revelation 20:14) So in short hades is a place where souls wait for judgment and that place will be cast in the lake of fire at the end.
I took a Catholic seminar on the bible and the presenter's take on Genesis is that it includes three (3) different creation stories, and is so disjointed that the most sense you can make of it is that it is a compilation of oral teachings. Some are histories, some are allegories. And on John of Patmos & Revelations, actual, historical fact is the existence of ergot poisoning, and Revelations was the result of a series of ergot hallucinations. Such hallucinations are documented throughout the middle ages & the renaissance.
And mine translates to.... "brown/dark". Literally at least. But Donn (where "duinn" comes from) is also a psychopomp. And my first name translates to "helper of/someone who helps". 😈
“Why does the Bible record the flood as only 4,200 years ago?” Telescoping genealogies. Most generations in their cultures would not have been recorded, making the entire practice of using them for establishing dates dubious at best.
Or, maybe, because they stole the flood story from the Sumerians and rewrote the dates to make themselves the chosen ones. Not like they could have ever predicted carbon dating and geology back then where we could confirm claims like that in the future.
You ascribed to Satan as a Cherub but he’s also called a dragon which the Seraphim are more closely related to serpents. Wouldn’t that be the more accurate classification?
I really don't see what the big deal is with Asherah. Academia is filled to the brim with activists with their own agendas. If one who leans against Christianity finds an ancient engraving of yaweh with his wife Asherah, he's going to interpret it as yaweh just being an ancient tribal god with a wife, among many others. However, if you read the old testament, a very watered down summary of the ancient Israelites is a people who kept falling into idolatry over and over and over despite God repeatedly and explicitly telling them to stop and to only worship Him. An ancient drawing of yaweh as another god among many with a wife corroborates the old testament narrative.
Ifn you read the prophets, God is married to the Land, and Her people. Anti-christ is to treat either with disrespect, disregard. What R God’s peeps to be about? Deuteronomy 11:21 (KJV) That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. Ten ways to treat your fellow man, and your God, both in heaven and Ruach on earth.
When I think of the question of how Nephilim, or giants with their blood could survive the flood, I suspect it might have to do with genetics. Genesis states Noah was the last one who was uncorrupted by their seed, the last pure human, if you would. This would thus imply his wife had at least a small amount of Nephilim blood, meaning the genetic traits for giants would still exist within their offspring. Thus it is possible the reason giants were so prominent in ancient days had to do with the relatively limited gene-pool from the world being reduced to eight people. Even assuming both Noah and his wife lacked Nephilim ancestors, their daughter-in-laws likely would have. Given that I'm writing this on Palm Sunday, I feel that I'd be remiss not to mention how spectacularly the date of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem lined up with the book of Daniel. Regarding Further revelation of the Bible, Jesus explicitly referred to John the Baptist as the last and greatest of the prophets. This mainly refers to Old Testament style prophets who prophesied about the coming Messiah. I'd also note the Pentateuch had a clear outline of how the legitimacy of a supposed prophet is to be determined, one of which is that all their prophecies must be correct, a single failed prophecy means they're a fraud and their message does not come from the Lord. (As there were pagan prophets, such as Balaam, who at times made accurate prophecies, but was an enemy of God and his people.)
The book of Enoch has a wonderfully allegory of our political system with the spewing forth of the asses, the elephants, and camels. Enoch was shown the truth of the world! The fallen are all the old gods of worship. Satan is helios, for God hated the worship of the sun, so Satan claims that title and makes us revolve around him. All of the world religions started with sun worship. God made the luminaries in the sky as tools to run his world, not to be revered. It's the oldest way we have put worship into the wrong thing.
This is an interesting topic. I do not belong to any particular religion, but spiritual myths are fascinating, and I do find valuable truths in numerous faiths. I pose a question to those who believe in a literal Noah's Ark event. How does a loving God destroy everyone, including children and other innocent beings, because half-angels are bad? It is nonsensical.
The only thoughts of men were evil all the time, that we know of time before the flood. God in his mercy destroyed the wickedness of that world. Of course perserving the last righteous ones, Noah and his family.
Also I’ll say this in regards to the Nephilim. I’m an Orthodox Christian, and it’s possible that the Nephilim could repent. However in their pride, being that they were superhuman, they believed they didn’t need God. This is attested to in the book of Jude I believe. Now here’s the kicker, since Christ (the second person of the Trinity) descended into hell, to destroy the power of the devil, and preach the gospel to the dead, it’s possible(likely) that the Nephilim were preached to by God, and repented. Of course they could still reject God in hell, but it’s a possibility. Of course this also goes for literally every single Person who died before Christ was crucified. I hope that helps.
Micheal- one like El. When one turns from God, who is ones enemy? 1 Samuel 16:14 (KJV) But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. 1 Kings 22:21-23 (KJV) 21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. 22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so. 23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee. This is 2 years late lol: This might be a specific translation thing, but in the New Testament I remember Jesus using the description of Hell as “fiery Gehenna” referencing a disgusting open waste field outside Jerusalem where garbage and refuse and animal carcasses were burned, and where at one point human sacrifices took place and were disposed of. And it would have been a clear image to people in Jesus’ time. But he might have been being allegorical to describe the spiritual torment of the eternal removal from God’s presence. But I’m no scholar, I just think it’s interesting.

It’s not meaningless, it’s beautiful and important
God bless.

Stop taking drugs and get a
Job.
And now you see why every time an angel appears to someone in the Bible, is says, "be not afraid."
Psychedelics make you see weird things, who would've guessed

Are these Orthodox Priests from the Lord of Spirits podcast

Which I'm not gonna get into right now.

decades ago when I was a young lad in school, I often interrupted bible class to verbally formulate my theory that the story of Greek creation and titans/gods is actually referring to the children of the sons of god and daughters of men. in biblical story, brothers and sisters have children together, just like the Greek gods did. Various parallels between elements in Enoch and other biblical and para-biblical texts. Which all ultimately wound up with me getting detention because I couldn't keep my heretical theories to myself....

I am agnostic, to put in my perspective of belief;
I believe that it is wrong to say that your excluded from heaven (or equivalent) if you believe in other gods or don't believe in any, because why would God or any other god only show up in one place and expect people to spread faith and others to trust that?

This means, this term refers not a single entity, but of many different characters which collaborate with Luzifer- Luzifer which translates to "Bringer of Light." 3:46 Will you give references to where you read about Enoch? The NWT has that All the days of Enoch amounted to 365 years. Enoch kept walking with the true God. Then he was no more for God took him.
There is a Book of Enoch. It is not in the Bible, but you can find it online. It is considered apocrypha, or an unapproved scripture.
My understanding of hell (hades, sheol) is when a follower of Christ dies they go to to be with Christ (2nd Corinthians 5:8) and those who aren't written in the book of life are in a sort of waiting place (which isn't a nice place e.g weeping and gnashing of teeth) waiting for judgment and after the 1000 year reign of Christ, all the souls will be judged and then along with death and hades will be cast in the lake of fire (revelation 20:14)
So in short hades is a place where souls wait for judgment and that place will be cast in the lake of fire at the end.
1:36:26 - Fun fact, one of my family names translates basically literally as "wild hairy man".
Legit could be talking about my pagan ancestors lol
And mine translates to.... "brown/dark". Literally at least. But Donn (where "duinn" comes from) is also a psychopomp. And my first name translates to "helper of/someone who helps". 😈
Doesn't 'ferris buellers day off' mention the walrus?
“Why does the Bible record the flood as only 4,200 years ago?”
Telescoping genealogies.
Wait till you read what the sumerians had to say... Haha. Happy reading.
Ifn you read the prophets, God is married to the Land, and Her people. Anti-christ is to treat either with disrespect, disregard.
What R God’s peeps to be about?
Deuteronomy 11:21 (KJV)
That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
Ten ways to treat your fellow man, and your God, both in heaven and Ruach on earth.
You mean King Arthur, the Englishman from Tintagel? Whats that got to do with Wales?
Way fewer people, lots of angelic genes going around
I'm so glad I found these videos, been dying for more of Wendigoons Sunday studies and you guys are cool
Problematic farter lol . . . I heard thru the ‘lectric grapevine that bad DMT will make you a problematic farter…
Much love guys. God bless.
Jesus Christ is the truth reach out, nothing but respect.
I love how God is just going to let Michael handle his light work when it comes to Satan
Micheal- one like El.
When one turns from God, who is ones enemy?
1 Samuel 16:14 (KJV)
But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
Old Job and friends all agree.
Job 42:11 (KJV) Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
Exceedingly common Lucifer L
Where’s the D&D on Twitch? I can’t find it
I don't know if you guys can see comments 2 years after a video, but I'm gonna try. What are yours and Wendigoon's denomination? I know you're not Catholic, but like baptist, methodist, reformist, Lutheran, etc. Just curious
21:55 - I know its probably a joke, but pretty sure that "The Dreaming" for Australian Aboriginals hasn't got any connection to other religions as far as I know. But they B-lined it here like 50k--60k years ago, so they weren't in contact with most of the rest of humanity lol
1:15:40 So..... half empty then, eh Glass?
i would like to know how similar the tommy knockers are to the tree knockers in american folklore
Imperial Walrus
Coo coo ca choo
Jesus would destroy Wales? Based.
This is 2 years late lol:
This might be a specific translation thing, but in the New Testament I remember Jesus using the description of Hell as “fiery Gehenna” referencing a disgusting open waste field outside Jerusalem where garbage and refuse and animal carcasses were burned, and where at one point human sacrifices took place and were disposed of. And it would have been a clear image to people in Jesus’ time. But he might have been being allegorical to describe the spiritual torment of the eternal removal from God’s presence.
But I’m no scholar, I just think it’s interesting.
